I am glad I was advised by YT vids of the plastic smell on initial use, otherwise I would have been shocked. I am glad of how the curls turned out tho.

The first time I got this I had my suspicions... and when I plugged it in, it melted all the pieces. I got a replacement, and tried to carefully watch it the second time around, and the thing really got too hot and started frying, I had to unplug it. Terrible product, do not waste your time and money!

These began smoking horribly right after plugging in and the rollers melted onto the metal base, where they stuck and hardened! The lid was opened fully so there is no explanation except that it is faulty and dangerous. I’ve used sets of hotrollers my entire life and never experienced this. These rollers need to be recalled they are an absolute fire hazard!!!

i can not use it in UAE unless i buy 220 to 120 Transformer

Curlers came with American plug in the UAE. Now I cannot use them until I buy an expensive step down Transformer. Not happy.

Como moro no Brasil, comprei também um adaptador de 220v para 110v (com uma potência boa, de 750 VA) e ele funcionou perfeitamente (também é necessário comprar um adaptador de tomada pois o plug é diferente, daquele antigo ao invés do de 3 pontos). Ele demora um pouco para esquentar (diferente de uma chapinha por exemplo), então deixo uns 10 a 15 minutos ligados antes de usar. Ele modela super bem os cachos porque demora um pouco pra esfriar totalmente na cabeça. Os grampos de metal são suficientes pra prender os rolinhos, não acho necessário comprar aquelas presilhas da marca. Consigo modelar meu cabelo inteiro e ainda sobram uns 3 rolinhos na caixinha. A entrega foi realizada antes do prazo.

I'm really pleased with these heated hair rollers, yes they do get a bit hot but after reading reviews I pull the plug out once I feel they're heated enough and set my hair. So easy to use, and the clips work well holding the rollers in place. My hair curled really nice with them, and the curl was still in for 4 days after using, until I got caught in a rain shower! I've had no problems, I really like them.
