Review: Very well written books, bought them for my 13 and 8yr old daughters as i wanted them to learn about black history. I myself learnt so much as they read to me, have recommended to friends who have gone on to purchase. Review: My 8 year kid is fascinated reading this book, its simplistic language making the book fun to read and yet so informative.

I love this series! They are great, easy-to-read, fact based biographies that my children have grown up with. Sacagawea was our first book because of my daughter's obsession and from there we moved to other strong historical women, such as Helen Keller and Amelia Earhart. Then we would find subjects to correspond with whatever my kids were studying at school. Really, really recommend this series!!!

We love the Who Was/Who Is/Where Is series! Great stories, even I like to read them along with my daughter. So happy to have found books my 9 year old will read!

We bought this book because my son needed it for his 3rd grade class. His teacher had books and we accidentally left his copy outside during the rain! We ordered this as a replacement, and I found the story very informative and yet interesting for my kid. It's hard to get kids interested in non-fiction and The Who was series is great for that. Like I said, this was for school, so it is also utilized by teachers. It's a great series and the King Tut story is of interest to kids. Worth the buy for sure!
