These have really upgraded my Klipsch x10i, x11i, & x12i's over the years. They do an excellent job of cutting out external noise by expanding to make a really good right seal, and are extremely comfy - great for use while on the move. They also add to the bass on my Klipsch 12i. On the other hand they are bulit to last forever and will likely need replacing every 6 months depending on use as they eventually deteriorate after cleaning every so often. I wouldn't bother going for the version without wax guard because the don't last nearly as long. They are a little expenses be for what they are but there really isn't any alternative. Overall I'm happy
