Can you run 60 volt battery

Yes. The 60v are "flexvolt" batteries. If you use the 60v in this recip saw the battery will automatically switch to a 20v at 9 amp hours. Using that battery in a 60v tool will give you 2 amp hours (It will last for a 1/3 of the time in a 60v tool compared to its run time in a 20v tool). I have to add that this compact reciprocating saw has quickly become one of my most used tools. Not only do I use it for all things carpentry related but I also use it all around the house trimming bushs and limbs. I use it with a carbide tipped blade and it is as functional if not more so than a small chainsaw. I love this thing.

which will run longer dcs367 compact or dcs380 full size

Have both and the 380 runs longer, but it also delivers less amperage. I prefer the compact and years ago learned to manage my batteries, always one in the charger. They charge quick and if maintained last longer than the competitor.
