They have some of the consistently best recipes out there. I'm not keto, but I have to eat gluten free, so I follow a lot of keto stuff. The book does not disappoint as far as content. If someone buys the hardcover, I don't think they would have a single complaint. Bobby is fantastic as far as explaining processes and I just couldn't be a bigger fan. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet (it was published on a Tuesday and my meal prep days are on the weekends) but just reading them, I can tell that he put a lot of thought into the ease of instruction in this book.HOWEVER, the Kindle version... yowsa. This came out badly. The indexes basically just look like they would in a normal hardcover, with no availability to link to recipes through the tables of contents. When a recipe references another item that is discussed elsewhere, there is no link and no way to flip to a page. In a hardcover, at least you could generally flip where you need to go. In a Kindle format, if there aren't links, you're basically stuck flipping through every single page. That's what this book does.I'm very encouraged by the fact that, as I'm leaving this review, the Kindle version is now unavailable to buy. I hope this means it is being heavily re-edited and an update is pending. Once that happens, I hope to be able to update this review to a full 5/5 stars.UPDATE: Final verdict is avoid the Kindle version but get the hardcover. The update resulted in some improvements but you still cannot flip directly to recipes from the index and, really, what's the point if you have to flip through Kindle pages in every chapter just to get to the recipes you want. That said, I'm still a huge fan of the actual content. The recipes are fabulous and I have loved everything I have made. There is a lot of great info here as well. They frequently list where you can find videos to supplement the recipes (which also sort of negates buying the book, but I like a recipe to work from so it is still worth it for me). As a result, I will wholeheartedly recommend the book - but only in hardcover. The Kindle version will make you want to scream. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FlavCity ROCKS!!! Real Food for Real People *by T***E on 16 May 2019* This Book not only goods great aesthetically but the book feels great in my hand... There are beautiful pictures for every recipe. I love how the authors personalities shine through in the book. The introduction had me laughing out load. I love the guidelines, the macros, and information for each one.. n u can actually go to YouTube and watch them cook some of the recipes for reference. I know the recipe lists look long on some of them but when you read through you realize this is mostly things you already have... I was expecting it to be great and it’s even better than I had imagined. Not only are the recipes amazing but you also get detailed macros, and storage (for both fridge and freezer) and reheating instructions for every recipe, which is awesome for meal prep.
