Very good purchase, top class purchase. Both items are above and beyond the call of duty. Swansons have the reputation for the best speed squares while the 6 inch adjustable square is well thought out. The scribing pin is SCREWED in. No lost scribes any more.

Ich habe mir dieses Set gekauft, weil ich schon sehr viele diy YouTube Videos aus Amerika gesehen habe. Und jeder von denen benutzt diesen Speed Square von swanson. Und jetzt weiß ich auch warum 😄, er ist sehr hilfreich beim anzeichnen, egal ob über die gesamte Länge der Bretter oder nur zum markieren der gewünschten Länge. Siehe Bild. Er ist auch ideal für kurze Schnitte als Führungsschiene mit der Handkreissäge. Komme ich nun zur Qualität vom Winkel : Also wir in Deutschland sind auf jeden Fall sehr verwöhnt was Qualität angeht. Er fühlt sich wertig an, (es scheint eine Magnesium-Aluminium Legierung zu sein) , er ist sehr robust und wird bestimmt sehr lange halten denke ich mal. Der Winkel bei mir hat exakt 90°. Aber die Markierungen auf dem Winkel sehen nicht wirklich schön aus, was mich jetzt persönlich nicht stört. Bei den Amis kommt es wohl nicht so auf Schönheit an 😄. Der kleine Kombinationswinkel ist wirklich sehr gut von der Qualität und die Skala ist auch in cm aufgeführt. Das hat der Winkel leider nicht, dieser ist in inch angegeben. Das wusste ich aber und deshalb stört mich das auch hier nicht. Für mich war es viel wichtiger das er seinen Zweck erfüllt und das auf ganzer Linie. Ich bin begeistert und würde mir den Winkel wieder kaufen. Werde mir auch noch den großen 12 inch Winkel zulegen. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir. Every beginner and pro needs a speed square. I’ve used this combo to build shelves, a privacy fense and now a dresser. The marking/measurements are accurate and easy to read. I love that its made up of 98% metal, so it holds up well when dropped. The Speed Square Is 5 in 1 tool: a try square, a miter square, a protractor, a line scriber, and a saw guide. As a beginner I’ve used it to make basic measurements, mark lines on dimensional lumber, and as a saw guide for short 45 and 90 degree cuts. The 6 IN. Pocket Square is just the right size for most of my measurements and marking. I’ve used it to Use it to: • check that the ends and edges of boards are square • lay out cut lines • check the depth of dados • ensure your table saw blade and fence are square before cutting material I highly recommend this combo for the DIY’er.
