Excellent strings
These strings have a well balanced tone and really bring out the best sound of my 12 string guitar, I'll buy these again ! 👍

Great Strings!
These are excellent strings. So far they are like butter to play down the fretboard. They sound bright and lively. They are not very expensive and easy to play. As far as durability and longevity, I will have to see how they do. They sound great on my Martin.

Great makes ya sound like a pro
Great sound on my Loar archtop. Not as loud as the more expensive 1/2 wounds but great tone and even with my sloppy chording they don't squeak!

Perfect!
For my 1980 Martin HD28, these are my absolute favorites. I’ve tried nearly them all, and to my ears these are the fit. Perfect balance, response, resonance and tone.

Harsh at first, but a good even set for the long haul
These strings sound harsh after installation, but they even out and sound quite even and clear after some playing--and hold up a good long time. I wouldn't recommend them for immediate use in stage or studio as they don't sound good at first, but if you want one good set of strings that will last for a while with good tone and even intonation, I think they're a good buy. I don't put them on all my guitars, and don't put them on if there's a gig or recording session coming up immediately--but they're great on my main J-45 when I know I'm going to be playing it a lot. I've had my last set for 8 months and am only changing them now. I'm using the light set, but I'm going to try a custom light set on another guitar just to see how they feel.

A happy surprise!
First thought was these strings are all about marketing. But now that I have played them for a while they are surprisingly great for light strings. Easy on the fingers and some nice harmonics. Will buy again!

A very worthy, albeit pricey, string option
Tried these strings for the first time & really like them. I tend to prefer nickel wound strings, & I also tend to prefer D’Addario, so these seemed like a home run. I was intrigued by the claim that these would bring out the “true sound” of my guitar. Damn effective marketing. I can’t definitively say it does that, but I CAN say that they do make my SJ-200 sound like a big, boomy cannon more so than other strings I’ve used. The tone is fairly bright. More so than I expected, but not complaining. Nice punch from the rosewood b/s, & gorgeous sustain. I can’t speak to longevity yet, but if they maintain their sound for any reasonable length of time, I’ll consider switching over to these full time. Or at the very least, add them to my rotation. My biggest concern is the price. As great as they sound, they’re very expensive for uncoated strings. I’m also not 100% sold on the balance. Lows & mids sound fantastic, but the highs don’t stand out as much as I’d like. But again, this is on an SJ-200, so I need to also put them on a more treble-friendly guitar.

Great strings
Love these strings. Put them on a 3/4 size guitar and they added depth to a guitar that sounded boxy and plasticky.
