So my focus has been on weight GAIN. However, L-Glutamine also increases insulin sensitivity, so I guess it can be useful in weight LOSS by reducing blood sugar levels and fat storage. **Q: Why does the ingredient photo list 2000 mg. when the top of this page says 1000 mg.?** A: I think it is 1000 mg per pill and serving size is 2 pills which would make it 2000 mg. Sorry it took so long to answer. **Q: Why my pills came in two colors? Yellow and white??** A: I have only used the powder form, white powder. **Q: How many grams per pill ?** A: 1000mg= 1 gram.
