Very good fit, perfect color and texture match (black)
I work with 2 car guys and they concurred that it was worth it to pay $85 for a Dorman part vs. $35 on Ebay for something else. Like thousands (hundreds of thousands?) of other GM owners, the upper dash cover in the used 2013 Escalade we just purchased was cracked in several places. UV is a harsh taskmaster. I hope GM has moved on to different plastic by now. Anyway, watch a couple YouTube videos to learn how to change this out. It's not that difficult but tricky in a couple places. Allow me to elaborate. On my vehicle, I needed a 7mm socket on the driver's side to remove one screw of the interior A pillar cover and a 10mm socket to remove 2 screws on the passenger's side. You survey the situation ahead of time and hope that this can be avoided but alas, the upper dash cover has a slot on each side that fits under the A pillar covers. So those need to come off. Again, watch YouTube videos and proceed carefully. Not too difficult. I managed to remove the A pillar covers and leave the speakers connected, but if you need more room and are careful, it is easier to disconnect and set those two pieces aside. Two things to note about removal of the old, cracked dash cover: One, the daylight sensor in the center needs a half twist (on my car, at least) to disengage. Second, you will most likely need needle-nose pliers to remove the clips that probably have broken off. Mine had and this was a blessing because the old cover came out easily in pieces and then I just grabbed the embedded clips with the pliers and pulled them out. However you remove the old pieces, make sure that you get all the plastic out of the tabs that the new cover will snap into so it sits level. Installation was easy except: that dang daylight sensor doesn't have a long wire and was difficult to get back in place. I sacrificed the little glass/plastic dome on top of it in the process. My advice is to get the dash cover lined up properly with the tabs first, even though this means the sensor's wire is pretty tight to reach the hole. Then, with one hand on top to feel the sensor coming through, position it so that its alignment tabs clear and give a twist. It took me about 10 minutes because there's no slack in the wire. Once that's done, you just need to push down the tabs and reconnect the A-pillar covers. I have black color and the color and texture was identical to the old one. The ONLY thing that wasn't perfect I noticed after the fact. It's not perfectly at the same level as the main dash cover adjacent to it. I looked at my old upper dash cover from GM and noticed they had adhered felt strips on the edge closest to you to raise it up about 1/8 of an inch. If you know about this in advance, you can try to transfer those felt strips or use your own. In any case, this is a very minor thing because the new upper piece is uniformly at the same height across the entire dash and only those people who have ever done this repair will even think to notice it. Hope this helps someone. Cheers!

Looks like and fits just like the original.
Be careful when pushing the panel into place. They should line up perfectly with the original and snap right into place.
