The quality of this fly swatter is incredible. After years of dealing with flimsy plastic swatters (and the mess from a fly salt gun), this one is a dream. It’s sturdy, well-made, and actually gets the job done. The kids even love challenging themselves to swat flies mid-air with it. Worth every penny!

I absolutely love my leather fly swatter. Very sturdy and gets the job done lol. Most fly swatters are plastic junk and break. Not as flexible as the leather fly swatter. I will buy these for now on

Very nicely made and effective. Looks good hanging in the pantry. Easy to wipe clean after destroying one or more flies. Thank goodness we don't have to use it that often, but when we do, it does the job. (Still hoping for "Seven with one blow.")

If you are hesitating, at all, about purchasing this item based upon the price, let me assure you that it is worth every penny. This is, hands down, THE best fly swatter I have ever used, and it is absolutely worth the money. It packs a nice wallop - the ONLY flies that escaped it's wrath were those that I missed. It is a very high quality item, and well made, and that is rare to find in this day and age. I also hesitated because of the price, but after reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance. I am so glad that I did. The Amish certainly know how to manufacture quality items. As a different reviewer stated, do not get the swatter with the wooden handle as it will not cut through the air well, and will probably break. The wire hanger handle on this is sturdy and very aerodynamic. The natural color is also a major plus versus the cheaper (and yes, I mean cheaper versus less expensive) plastic neon swatters that are truly just a waste of money. The flies see them coming with their incredible vision, and the solid handles just do not cut through the air well, I have broken more of those than I have killed flies with them. I would HIGHLY recommend this swatter to anyone and everyone who wants to efficiently eradicate nasty flies with ease.

Only used it twice n it kills them great but we don't know how long it will last yet

Great for killing spotted lantern flies. They are big bugs and the leather is holding up great with all the hard hits. It is a pricey item, but looks like it will hopefully last a long time

We get lots of flies and fruit flies here in Texas. I got fed up with my cheap fly swatters breaking so went on search for something better. Normally, I would not buy something so expensive when you can get a cheap version for a dollar at the Dollar Store - but then we are back to them breaking nonstop. I have been using this new leather swatter now for months on several fruit fly infestations in that timeframe, so now can honestly say if you get this, you will likely NEVER need a new one and the swat it so satisfying I can’t explain it. The handle is made of a very strong wire so like I said, probably will never need another one for the rest of your life. I wish all things were made with such lasting ability these days! Needless to say I am placing another order to give these away for Xmas, love love them! Get one if you are on the fence just because of the price

The old plastic and wire dollar store flyswatter finally broke, and has now been replaced with this new leather and wire handcrafted one. This is the story of how landfills became the flip side of our culture. My grandmother used to tell me: “buy quality things once instead of buying junk many times”. This flyswatter is a good example of quality over quantity. If the leather part of the flyswatter is damaged after say twenty or thirty years, I’m sure it will be easy to redo by whoever inherits this heirloom.

This swatter does its job and then some. If you enjoy knocking the guts out of flies this is the tool for the job. No need for second hit ever. Only use the finished side of the leather as it cleans easily - and you’re going to want to clean it. Handle seems flimsy but it stands up to power hits no problem. Worth every penny.
