Will it be PS4 Exclusive?

Multi-Part series, part 1 is exclusive for 1 year on PS4. No telling how long it will take the other parts to come out or how long they will be exclusive for the PS4, but I expect you'll be able to play the full game on any platform by around the year 2030.

I did not cry. But i had an extremely emotional response to the game. My eyes definitely welled up a few times. For context though, i played the original in 1997 in college and it was an important game (not my favorite of all time) to me growing up. I absolutely had an emotional response to the remake. It is brilliant!

Is there going to be any Collector's edition or similar?

There probably will be. However, if it follows history from previous Square-Enix releases you can expect the JP and EU markets to get substantially better collector's editions than the NA market.

Did anyone else not receive the code for the preorder bonus? I ordered in 2015 so I'm wondering if that's the issue.

Got my game on the 9th. Never got my code. Preordered in 2015. Amazon is telling me no such code exists. When I linked them their own Twitter page advertising it they said that was probably a fraudulent account pretending to be Amazon...
