A little goes a long way, so it's worth the price in my opinion. It's very thick and does its job well, and I use it on my face with no problem, though not every day. It'll give your skin a healthy glow without looking or feeling oily. **Q: How does this compare to embryolisse lait cream?** A: the skin food is much thicker and more emollient. the lait cream dries semi-matte for my skin, but skin food will leave an oil-based sheen. I use skin food at night and lait cream for day and it works out well. **Q: Does the cream have an offensive odor?** A: I'm not a sensitive fragrance person and can tolerate a lot, but this has such a strong odor I could not make it to a second application. The fragrance is so overwhelming it smelled like Lestoil house cleaner. I heard great things about Weleda and had high hopes for this skin cream and was disappointed.
