Removes leaves, pine cones and needles that collect on roofs. Simply connect head to existing extension pole. For light snowfall removal, use with Garelick Original or Snow Trap roof snow rakes: Model No. 89416 (SKU 712768), Model No. 89516 (SKU 761352), Model No. 89421 & Model No. 89521. For use with most brand 1" round diameter roof rake extension poles that use a snap-button pole connection. Ideal for light snowfall removal on satellite dishes, solar panel and shake roofs. Wide brush removes wide path of leaves and debris. Review: NICE! - Super product - works well to remove the leaves and debris that accumulates in the nooks and crannies of our roof. Borrowed by a few neighbors - and they went on to order their own. Review: Wow! Durable, Well-made, and Not Plastic! - I've been looking for years for a good roof/gutter brush. I have several valleys and getting up on the roof twice annually is a dangerous proposition no matter what your age. I resisted buying all the plastic "As Seen On TV" products, hoping to find something a little less "environmentally-heavy." After scrolling several pages down in an desertcart search, I found this item without poles. It comes in another package with poles, but I already have several, and I only plan to use it fairly low on the roof of a first-floor house. Hardware looks well-made with large-diameter bolts. The brush has all-natural bristles, and hardwood, and it just looks fantastic. It is somewhat light by itself, though as the instructions mention, it gets heavier as you add poles and stretch it out over the roof (physics of leverage.) I'd rather have some weight on it to move debris, and wonder how effective it might be on light snow. I didn't buy it for snow, though, and already have a snow scraper made with a copious amount of plastic, which I'd rather avoid.

Make sure you have (or can get) the right kind of extension pole to go with this.
Here's what they DON'T tell you in the description of the brush: you won't be able to find an extension pole to fit it anywhere. I went to Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace, you name it, and NO ONE carries extension poles that have the snap-button connection that fits onto this brush. Every pole I could find has a threaded end for screwing into something else. You don't find out you need this specialized connector until the brush arrives. I went on Garelick's website, and it looks like even they don't sell extension poles with this kind of connector (http://www.garelick.com/Telescopic-Poles). Having said all that, the brush seems otherwise to be what it's described as. I have some doubts it'll be as effective as I'd hoped on the heavy (and wet) amounts of pine needles we get in the valleys of our roof, but I can say that for sure, as I've not figured out how to attach it to a pole for use.

Solar Panel Snow Removal
Works good on removing snow from my solar panels. I have their snow rake that came with the snap-button poles needed to use this brush. Only 4 stars being they should've included two more washers in hardware for attaching pole to brush wood base with that nut and bolt included.
