Best to catch them on a surface by surprise. They were in my sink a lot, so I approached with stealth ducked down. Then pow pow pow. Watch out spraying them on a ceiling as you will catch a face full of spray. Fortunately it's not toxic and pet friendly, one of the main reasons we bought it instead of the raid brands. Unfortunately it's less effective. And pricey. But you and your pets won't grow another head. So... I'd recommend a multi pronged approach when tackling these winged vermin. 1. Sticky traps. 2. Keep sinks dry. They seek out moisture. 3. Don't leave food sources out. Also empty your garbage daily. 4. Bleach your sink nightly. They lay their eggs in the drains. 5. If you have pets, clean their litter or nesting area every few days. They adored our rabbit hutch and bred in the poo. Yes, gross. 6. Don't leave soda cans or glasses of soda laying around. Rinse when finished. 7. Be liberal with this product. Buy extras as you will go through it if your infestation is bad.
