Superior quality syrup that tastes like old fashioned butterscotch
Definitely recommend. Even family members who aren't huge fans of butterscotch kept asking for butterscotch lattes. We bought several of the Amoretti syrups, and Iโll include all of them in this review. Weโve tried pretty much all of the major brands, including Torani, Da Vinci, and Monin. This is our favorite brand. In general, the Amoretti syrups are richer and have more complex flavor profiles. They are also thicker, which makes them more versatile because they can be used for drizzling or dipping or even baking etc, as opposed to most other brands that are meant only for adding to drinks. We like some flavors more than others. Iโll include all of the flavors weโve tried. Our favorite flavors are amaretto and butterscotch (our family and guests have gone through two thirds of a bottle in only 2 weeks). Our least favorite flavors are hazelnut (itโs more sweet than nutty, and we prefer a more nutty flavor) and caramel (we definitely wonโt buy caramel again but will definitely try cajeta and dulce de leche). Dark chocolate. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this chocolate syrup is. It is NOT cloying (overly sweet), and it is not creamy (they do have a milk chocolate syrup for those who prefer a creamy chocolate). This tastes like real cocoa - like a dark chocolate bar thatโs been melted into a syrup. We usually buy the Ghirardelli dark chocolate syrup, but we will be switching to this syrup. It is the perfect syrup to drizzle over ice cream or make a mocha latte. Vanilla bean. This is good. Definitely better than Torani. What I like about this syrup is that they went in the right direction with more vanilla, which means you donโt have to put as much in your coffee. Itโs still not as good as homemade vanilla syrup, but I also canโt keep homemade vanilla syrup in the fridge for very long. Iโll try their other vanilla syrup (which is three times the price of this one) and see if itโs closer to my homemade version. That said, this is definitely the best vanilla syrup Iโve ever purchased. Caramel. This is our absolute least favorite of all of the flavors we have tried so far. The flavor profile is very simple. I wish I had seen the dulce de leche or cajeta flavors before I ordered the caramel. We will never use this syrup, but guests will often ask for caramel when we make espresso drinks for dinner parties, weekend brunches, etc. Hazelnut. This is just ok. It did not have enough nuttiness for our taste. We generally use hazelnut syrups very often, so we were very surprised. We all felt that the sweetness overpowered the nuttiness. I will likely send an email asking if they have other hazelnut products that we might like better for our coffee drinks because we are very impressed with the quality of the syrups - just not the flavor profiles of caramel or hazelnut. But hey, four out of six flavors were amazing. Amaretto. Wow. Just wow. This actually tastes like amaretto. This is an absolutely fantastic syrup. The quality of this particular syrup makes me want to try all of their nonalcoholic liqueur syrups. Jamaican rum will be up next! Butterscotch. This is the family favorite. Every single family member who was here over the holidays loved this butterscotch in their espresso drinks. Weโve tried other butterscotch syrups in the past, and nobody wanted to drink them. I bought this on a whim because I love butterscotch, and it was a real surprise hit. I thought it would be our least favorite, but itโs #1. Everyone was putting this in their lattes and drizzling it over ice cream and brownies. Flavors we plan to try next: cinnamon, coconut, Jamaican rum, cajeta, and dulce de leche. Weโll add these flavors to our review after we try them.

Certainly different but not bad at all
Bottom line up front: If you desire something that tastes like Coke or Pepsi or the generic clones thereof, seek elsewhere; this product is not for you. To abuse an old sci-fi reference "It's cola, Jim, but not as we know it." After mixing it with cold water in the proportions recommended and tasting it, I would say that it actually is cola-like but with strong herbal overtones (one of which I can only describe as kind of pine-y) and a noticeable bit of bitterness alongside the sweetness is perceptible because of the much lower sugar content compared to the major brands. By the end of the first glass and with the impression reinforced by another glass a day later, I had decided that I enjoyed the herbal flavor, enough so that I'll buy another when this bottle runs out. However, I will admit it was something I had to actively contemplate for a bit and I certainly am not surprised that other reviewers have decided it wasn't for them. It is definitely a flavor that is off the beaten path but sometimes, like in this case, that's not a bad thing. Try it if you're feeling adventurous.

Regret this purchase!
I purchased the Chai Amoretti syrup along with their pumpkin pie syrup and deeply regret the purchase. Both flavors are not enjoyable, but this one in particular is extremely bitter and leaves an awful aftertaste. I have tried using this many different ways in my coffees and teas and every time I use it I regret it, swiftly toss out that drink and make another. I bought these products in an effort to make enjoyable drinks at home to save money from purchasing expensive drinks at shops. However, it has proven to be a complete waste of money, space and has been very unenjoyable. For an investment of about $30 in Amoretti products, it is an absolute disappointment. If I were you, I would think twice about purchasing this for yourself, as it seems very enticing and promising, it is a very bad product. I wish I could get a refund and likely think that is how you will feel as well. Save your money and time now. EDIT: Great customer service. They really want to do anything they can to help you enjoy their products.

Good way to taste 3 flavors.
I bought this 3-bottle pack to be able to try 3 different flavors first before committing to buying a 750mL bottle. I was really hoping to try French Vanilla, Butterscotch, and Almond, but that was not an option in any of the 3-bottle packs. So I settled on these 3 flavors. I really like the French Vanilla. The instructions indicate to put 2 teaspoons, but I find that it's too sweet for my liking. So I put less than that, and I can still taste the flavor and smell the aroma of the vanilla in my coffee, without overpowering the flavor of the coffee. The Hazelnut flavor is OK. I find that it has more of a Roasted Hazelnut flavor than just Hazelnut. The Caramel flavor doesn't really do much other than sweeten the coffee. Even adding 2 teaspoons in my coffee doesn't give it a Caramel flavor. It just makes it sweet. I put it as 3-star because I didn't really care for the Hazelnut and Caramel flavors. And I wish Amoretti just gave me the option to buy the 3 flavors I really wanted to try in the first place. If you are thinking of trying out these 3 flavors, then this is a good way to do it. Each bottle will give you enough number of servings to be able to know how the flavors are. Just don't expect it to have more servings, and consider it a sampler of the 3 flavors. If you like vanilla though, then just go for the bigger 750mL bottle, and skip the Hazelnut and Caramel flavors. Speaking of liking Vanilla flavor, I would also want to know how the 3 Vanilla flavors differ from one another (Vanilla, French Vanilla, Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla), but that again is not an option for the 3-bottle pack. Hence, the suggestion to pick and choose 3 flavors rather than being limited to the set packs.

We're Number Two! We're Number Two!
NGL, a certain French brand offers a richer flavor and mixes better than this one, but hear me out: I have a Drinkmate, which means I can add the flavoring prior to carbonating the bottle, which means I can shake the heck out of the bottle to get this syrup to dissolve really well prior to carbonating. The flavor here is at least 90% as delicious as the French one. So, this item takes my solid #2 spot for value and taste.

Delicious flavor, no drips, absolutely perfect
This is the best coffee syrup I have ever had! It's absolutely delicious and exactly what I was hoping for. I was very pleased that it came with a pump. Don't be fooled by the pump, it looks huge, like a garden hose, I was convinced syrup would either spray everywhere or it would be faaaaar to much for my double espresso. I was pleasantly surprised! It absolutely dispenses just the right amount, maybe a teaspoon at a time? Close to that I think. Even better? Not one drip or drop spilled. I have used many different syrup pumps in my life and most of them drip or get crusty, invite ants or flies in some way. Not this one! I have rarely been so pleased with a purchase like this. I have nothing negative to say, not even some constructive criticism! I am really looking forward to trying more flavors.

Thick, sweet, and tasty!
Excellent flavor. This syrup is significantly thicker than the DiVinci brands, so it needs a bit more stirring to combine it with coffee and other liquids. But it works more decoratively as a drizzle over whipped cream and other toppings.
