Fragrant even when opening the case without having to bruise leaves to release it. The second image is the first time I had to cut the bottom 1/8 inch off, as well as a few leaves off because they were starting to barely brown ... and that was just TODAY. No need at all previously. If you follow the directions and change the water every 2-3 days, in a normal temp fridge, I can totally see it lasting 3 weeks or more. I negatively reviewed this item with only 2 stars as the herbs don't seem to last any longer in this than they do in the plastic produce bag, nor can you fit in the whole bunch of ANY herb that you buy in the store.
