There are better flashlights. The switch doesn't work very well. **Q: I thought that this was a rechargeable light. What batteries to do recommend and how many hours can I expect to get from new ones installed.** A: I still have original batteries that came with the flashlight in mine from a year ago. Don't use a whole lot though. I have problems with it wanting to go off and have to shake to get it to come back on. It does have a lifetime warranty though. You can use rechargable batteries in it. **Q: how do you change batteries?** A: Unscrew the small end and then tip the three old batteries out and insert three new batteries. **Q: I have one of these lights but it won't work when I change batteries. what should I do?** A: Hi, If you have unscrewed the end opposite the flashlight head you should see a tube where 3 AAA batteries can be placed with the + side going in first on each. If it doesn't work after screwing the end back on again and clicking the button a few times there may be something else going on. You are welcome to send it to our warranty department and we will repair or replace it. You can find warranty return information on our website.
