CoolxChange Compression Cooling Gel Bandage, Regular, 3" X 47"

I purchased two of these to help control exercise induced vasculitis (also known as Disney/hiker/golfer rash) in my lower legs due to long distance hiking. While not dangerous, it creates some ugly red blotches on my legs that I’d prefer to not have! I had tried compression socks, but they didn’t help because my legs weren’t staying cool enough. I need compression AND cooling, but was at a loss on how to achieve this! Enter these CoolxChange compression bandages.......EXACTLY what I needed!! I wrap my calves about halfway through my long hikes for an instant, refreshing cooling sensation and then hike the last half while wearing them. They do dry out as I’m wearing them so I keep a small spray bottle of water in my pack to spritz them with. This makes them cool back down so I can enjoy the benefits for the rest of my hike. Since I started using these wraps, no more ugly red blotches on my legs!! Woohoo!! I love these so much that when my son needed an idea for a Mother’s Day gift for me, this is what I asked for! Now I have an extra one in my pack should I need it for an injury while out on the trails. I am a happy, happy customer!

Worked great for my sprained ankle when sitting, but it was uncomfortable to use when walking or moving!

My husband has a very rare genetic disorder that causes his extremities to flare up. This causes him great pain. It's called burning man syndrome. These have been such a God send! I will be ordering these regularly. They give him relief if only temporarily. We have found nothing that works better than these do. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find anything to help during these flare ups. This product works wonders!!

Was not what I expected> thought the item had a slimy feel.

These things help so much! Broke my foot a while back & currently have a bone infection in it. This keeps cool & snug around the entire area. Great invention!

It was a gift for my brother who had severe swelling in his hand. It worked to some degree.

We really wanted to love this item, but it was impossible due to it's high price tag that makes it 200% more expensive than its competitors. It's just half the length of most wraps. It doesn't stay on unless I wrap it too tight, and that makes an already painful bursa sack even more painful. It's way too messy and sticky when you add the water to reuse it. You have to do this after every single use. It's just not a successful, reusable, item for my needs and it just doesn't stay on after the first use, and due to the clumpy gel substance that keeps it cold, it's not a product you can wear under clothing without leaving a large stain.

I love the precision you get when you wrap this around the area you are treating. It stays on, and stays cool. I had carpel tunnel surgery, and tried several other options until I tried this. Plus it is more than one use!!

It really works. Kept my swollen ankle cool to help with the swelling. Like that it is simple to use and reuse.
