I bought a new treadmill and was really bummed that it kept shocking me. It was happening about once every couple minutes! At first I thought it was an issue with the treadmill but after researching I learned this is quite common due to the charge you accumulate while running on the deck. I found some things folks recommended, but I wasn't fond of strapping my wrist to the frame or dousing myself and the machine in fabric softener so I rolled the dice on this very affordable product. I was quite skeptical regarding it's effectiveness, comfort and durability. I'm so pleased to report that this thing is much higher quality than I had expected. Time will tell, but it feels quite sturdy. Seriously, even if it only lasts a couple months, it's a bargain. Comfort-wise, I can't even feel it on my foot! I run with high stack height, max cushion running shoes and while the heels are quite large, the thing strapped right over my shoe. Most importantly, it works! I went from constant shocks to absolutely zero! I just have it on one foot, by the way. I don't write many reviews but I hope that other people with the same issue I was experiencing will find this product. I'm just so thrilled it actually works and I have no complaints whatsoever.

I really don't know the science behind it or why it works, but it really does. My wife got me a walking pad treadmill for Christmas and I put it in front of my adjustable desk so I can walk on it while I work during the day. Initially I was getting static shocks constantly as I worked, it was annoying. I bought this little strap that goes on one of your feet (not both), and somehow it works perfectly, I have never gotten a static shock while wearing it so far. So worth the price. If you're having this problem, get this! It really works.

Not a scam. So far so good. Every winter at the office, I get static shocks from all of the carpeting and metal cabinets so when I saw this, I wanted to try it. Still have a reflex of thinking there’s going to be a shock and then to my delight, nothing. Nada. It’s so nice to not get electrocuted all day at work. I would give it a five star if it didn’t get loose every so often. I think the design could be somehow enhanced so it stays in place. I’m sure it’s just meant for the IT Dept and computer people but for the average worker these are gold. Hopefully they will last long since I’m taking them off and leaving them at the office each day.

This thing actually works really well. I am very surprised. When I first got my treadmill I was using slippers and it was fine. I bought running shoes snd suddenly I was getting a large shock every 5 min on my laptop while running. I looked up on amazon and only was finding bracelets but I did not want to be tethered to the treadmill. I came across this one and was intrigued. I ordered it and IT WORKS! Like not a single shock again in a 1hr session. I wore the same, pants, and everything to replicate, so can guarantee this is what fixed it. You do not feel it on the bottom of the shoe at all and the piece that goes inside the shoe I just put around the foot bed to hold it in place when slipping my foot in and out. This saved my laptop and walk while working routine!

I love the idea of this product and I haven't gotten shocked -not once! So they work for that...But the overall fit is not perfected and they are somewhat bulky and wide. I wear a womans 9 size clog. If I put the strap at the back of my shoe, there was too much slack -a finger's worth and because of that the bottom part did not fit on the heal properly. Maybe better for boots.

OMG these really work! I moved to New Mexico recently and if I thought I got shocked a lot in New England, that’s nothing compared to the desert. I seriously thought I was going to end up frying my laptop. These work amazingly! I barely get shocked at all anymore. My only complaint is that it sometimes takes a little bit to get the wire comfortable in my shoe, because I am a delicate flower. LOL. But damn this thing is amazing.

I was so scared to even touch any door even because i was getting so many strong shocks. After wearing this only to one shoe, helps alot. I did not get a single shock. Now i can touch anything without worrying about shocks

This seems to work - I haven't gotten a shock since I've been wearing it. It's easy to use and effective. I gave it 4 stars simply because I have to remember to remove it before I go outside (I wish I could find a wrist band that works but none have been as effective as this product.) The inconvenience of having to remove it and then put it back on is the only flaw. Otherwise, I'm glad I bought it, and it's so nice to get through a day without static!

The product quality is terrible, if you request return, it’s very complicated and frustrating. Just like a scam, don’t bother to buy.
