Good toy for kids to learn programming and robotics

It's an amazing set. Great for kids age 7-10, and a good introductory set before Mindstorms. The problem is, There's 1 missing piece, Conical Wheel Z12 ELEMENT NUMBER 4565452 . This piece is an important one and can not be replaced with other piece. We are in the middle of building the robot cat and couldn't continue.

Great toy, a lot of fun. Only downside is the app drains your phone battery very quickly.

This is a great set. My 8 year old son loves it so much his reasponse was best day ever! He built the cat first and the next day he build the auto builder. The app is easy to use and he has no trouble figuring out what to do. He has now done the robot too. Quite an amazing product.

I bought this set for my 7-year-old son, who is a real Lego Technic fan. The fact that he can now combine Lego with software on a tablet, and that he can actually programme how his constructions react, is unique and even encourages him to create his own, sometimes weird, inventions that perform accordingly to what he says they should. What a shame that Lego stopped producing this set!
