My daughter was desperate for the classic "shake it" instant camera but when I looked into how much they cost, and more importantly, how much the film costs, it was a hard no from me. I did lots of research and finally landed on the Kodak Mini Shot 3 but still felt nervous about parting with my money, though I shouldn't have worried. This camera is AMAZING! I think it's important to remember that your satisfaction with this camera will depend on your expectations. I wasn't expecting to get professional photos from it or battery that lasts for days, I simply wanted to fulfil my daughter's wish of being able to print photos straight from the camera. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the camera is, it feels like you've got a "proper" camera and like you've got your money's worth, but it's not bulky and it's easy to carry with the strap that's included. I love the fact you can preview the picture on screen and decide whether or not to print, so you don't waste film on bad photos. I absolutely love the experience of waiting for the picture to print, it takes a few minutes overall but once it's done, it's ready. It's fun seeing the picture pop in and out as it layers the different colours on. The film cartridges are very easy to remove and insert, and I am so happy with how much cheaper they are compared to the big brand. I bought 60 prints for £15 on Amazon which works out 25p per photo. The pictures come out quite clear and I'm very happy with the colours. Don't get me wrong, they're not good enough that you'd use only this camera for important events like weddings but they're really nice keepsakes and have a classic look. I can't comment on the charge because we've only used the camera in the house so far so there's always a charger around. We are going to take it on holiday but I'll just keep a battery pack handy because I can tell the charge won't last for a whole day of memory making. The only negative from me is that the pictures seem to print out slightly off-centre which is annoying when you tried to align it perfectly. But I've found if you hold the camera vertically instead it seems to eliminate the problem, and makes no difference because the pictures are square anyway. Speaking as someone who was stressed about finding the perfect instant print camera, I would 100% recommend this one to anybody.

Surprisingly good quality. Prints are actually very good indeed. Very clear and detailed with excellent colour. Great starter bundle here with extra sheets. Great that you can send images from your smartphone to the printer too. I had thought it might be a bit naff but it's very very useable. The grandkids love it for scrapbooking.

Unless you're printing from a bluetooth photo sent from another device then don't bother buying this as the attached camera is just a gimmick, I'm surprised Kodak even put their name to it because a picture taken on the camera is truly shocking. If you don't use the included flash you can't see anything and if you do use it then it's so over exposed you can't see anything........get the lighting just right and that's when you really see how bad the quality of the camera is. And that's not the worst bit!! The battery is seriously bad.....and I mean SERIOUSLY BAD. Charge it up ready for one of those moments you want to capture for ever.....you better take that picture in a day or two because even if you're not using it and it's turned off you'll have to put that precious moment on hold until it's charged again because it depletes super fast. In short, this device is useless. Buy a decent printer and MUCH cheaper photo paper and save yourself the headache of having to throw away another bit of rubbish retro tech that cost a load of money just so you can get that feeling back of the 90's.

I like my gadgets and thought this would be a fun addition to print some pictures and use as an old school instant camera. It’s good but does have its flaws. What I like: - it came with the camera and 3 packs of film which I thought was good value - the fact you can print direct from your smart phone was the major factor that sold me this camera - the prints are ok, they’re a bit of fun but do not expect quality like you get from the machines in boots and supermarkets etc - I like that you can print and take photos - it’s quite compact so easy to travel with - simple enough to charge up - simple enough to download and use the partner app - great fun seeing the picture slide in and out as it develops and laminates What I don’t like: - picture quality and colour reproduction isn’t great - using as a camera can be tricky is the screen is tiny and framing a decent picture can be hit or miss better to take the picture on your phone then print on the Kodak - prints are quite small

I was so excited to get it. But i was surprised when i received it, both the picture quality and the printing quality are very low. The film got stuck while printing and it stopped working.

Dwukrotnie zamówiłem ten aparat i obydwa egzemplarze były uszkodzone. Pierwszy z nich w ogóle się nie uruchamiał i został wymieniony na nowy, natomiast drugi egzemplarz miał problem z drukowaniem zdjęć - warstwy kolorów nie nakładały się idealnie na siebie, były przesunięte. Aplikacja na telefon w wersji android pozostawia wiele do życzenia.

Llevo utilizando la cámara durante un tiempo, procedo a relatar los pros y contras de esta: Pros: Es una cámara bastante pequeña comparada con la competencia. Imprime fotos con o sin marco y este se puede cambiar de color sin tener que comprar cartuchos especiales. Las fotos son de un tamaño como los de la Polaroid aproximadamente. La foto te sale a 34 céntimos lo cual es una ganga. Permite la impresión de fotos desde tu móvil ya que tiene una app que la puedes conectar a la cámara (esto es muy distintivo al resto). Tiene una batería incorporada capaz de sacar unas 20 fotos. Lo cual está bastante bien sabiendo que los carretes son de 7. Contras: Tiene una pantalla LCD que es una basura pero he de decir a su favor que mantiene la esencia de que no vas a saber muy bien el resultado de la imagen hasta que salga. La batería dura menos si imprimes las fotos desde el móvil sacando unas 10 fotos. Tiene un puerto de carga micro USB. No cuenta con visor por lo que tienes que fiarte de la pantallita. Elegí esta cámara y no a la competencia debido a lo barato que salen los cartuchos, el tamaño de la fotografía y ese formato 2 en 1 pudiendo imprimir fotos del móvil que se quedan olvidadas en el formato digital. Por otro lado decir que no me arrepiento de la compra que hice pero dudaba en comprar la Kodak smile (la compacta) ya que no utiliza cartuchos Kodak. Más que nada por si se va al tacho y luego no hay cartuchos. La otra utiliza papel fotográfico normal solo te tienes q fijar que sea del mismo tamaño y ya. Espero que sea de gran ayuda este comentario y os anime a comprarla. Dentro de un año más o menos hago una actualización.

I am disappointed with the reliability of this product. After successfully printing only 3–4 times, the camera began displaying a 'Cartridge Not Recognized' error. Despite the cartridge being correctly installed. the device fails to detect it. This inconsistency makes the product difficult to use.
