My KNOWEASY stripper was annoying me over a year of use. Irregular fails to cleanly strip, and crunching stripped wire when releasing handle. This VCELINK stripper does a GREAT job!!! Clean stripping of multiple leads at once. When releasing handle, jaws open FIRST. This avoids problem of crunching the now bare strands. Being half metal, it has a pleasant weighty heft. Length adjuster has a lot of friction, so no worries accidentally changing it in middle of a repetitive job. Tension knob does its job. Practiced on my fingers to get feel for it. But as I only use for 18-24 AWG, shouldn't need adjusting much. Overall, am VERY pleased with this STEAL of a deal. $10 for superior gadget to keep working projects without a simple thing going sideways and slowing me down

Great and effective wire stripper / tool for the money. This is the second one I’ve purchased ‘cause I just wanted another one in a different tool box. Easy to use on smaller gauge wiring very quickly when stripping several wires even when doing 2 at a time. I’m a big fan of metal tools versus breakable plastic.

I used to work with Stripax wire strippers that were awesome, but expensive. They would perfectly strip the outer jacket of a multiconductor cable without nicking the inner conductors, and then would perfectly strip the inner conductors. It was great. Over time, their system of multiple sharpened, springy "teeth" would corrode and wear out unevenly, like any mechanical system, and they would need replacing. I no longer work that job, and no longer have access to the fancy stripax strippers, and no longer need to strip hundreds or thousands of cables and wires per day. But I have a project that requires stripping a lot of wire and multi-conductor cable, so I took a chance on this. It's really good! My guess is that it will not last as long as a multi-tooth stripax, but the initial sharpness and spring tension actually does a great job of first stripping off the outer jacket, and then stripping the individual conductors of Mogami cable. If I were planning to do months of work on an industrial scale, I would spring for the stripax. But for a weekend project, it works great!

I’ve been using this quick strip wire toolset mostly for higher gauge wires, and it works really well — easy to use and gets the job done fast. However, when it comes to thicker, low gauge wires, it’s not as effective. Stripping those requires more effort or a different tool altogether. If you mostly work with thinner wires, this set is a solid choice. Just don’t expect it to handle heavy-duty wire stripping easily.

These are some of the best wire strippers on the market. They are very simple to use as my 5 year old niece is capable of making them work. These are very basic strippers and do not provide a crimper. They do however have wire cutters built into them. The offer being able to strip at different lengths as well as different sizes of wire which is really good. I do a lot of small electronic work and being able to strip small wire with ease makes this pay for itself after a few jobs. The construction is plastic but is a good durable plastic. These strippers also came with a small set of angled wire cutters so its very worth the price. I would buy this again if these ever break.

I usually don't give out reviews but when I'm impressed, I give the credit when its due. I bought this just for the heck of it. It was only 7.99 figuring it will be a broken tool in a day, but I was wrong this tool worked flawlessly and I think it will be in my kit for a long time it really is a quality tool. If you're looking for a great automatic wire stripper, get it. If you're not as impressed as me your only out 8 bucks.

I received this product today as I had to do a small wiring chore in my house. This product does exactly what you want it to do. It cuts wires and strips them easily and proficiently. And it is very affordable. You can’t go wrong buying this.

Works very well and accurate. Took just rubber coating off and didn't touch the wires. Cutter cuts good.

This piece of kit is brilliant - how come I only just found it when I have been battling for years with stripping bits of wire for routine diy electrical jobs ?? A definite must have even if you are only needing to rewire or change a plug. Very simple to use and works perfectly every time - I am female and do odd bits of basic electrics around the house, so the less fiddly the job the better, and this tool fits the bill. Very solidly made, so I feel it should last well.
