An Addition
It does the job as it should. I already have at least one but I'm undergoing a series of procedures in hospital so have an overnight bag ready. I decided to purchase duplicate charging cables for phone, Ipod and so on so they are already in the bag. It may seem a bit extravagant but they are all cheap and it gives me peace-of-mind; that's so important at the moment.

This cable works just fine charging my Walkman NWZ-E465, but when I use this cable to connect the Walkman to the USB port on my Win10 PC, Windows never recognizes the connection, so I can't add music to my Walkman. That's no good. The listing clearly states it does both -- charging and data transfer. I know the USB port is working fine. UPDATE: I connected the Walkman to a different computer and was able to do data transfer. After that, it worked fine on my computer as well. Not sure what the glitch was, but it's not the cable. So changing my rating to 5 stars.

Great! Wasn’t sure it would fix our problem but it did. I was getting a “usb malfunctioned” error for my Sony Walkman mp3 and I bought this in hopes it would work and it did! Perfect!
