NOW Supplements, Liquid Magnesium with Trace Mineral, Nervous System Support*, 8-Ounce

This supplement was recommended by my Doctor to see if we could raise my very low magnesium level. I am giving 5 stars because it is what it says it is, and you are forewarned on the taste before you even purchase it. It is a gagging taste, but if you really need Mag, its short lived. You must know that I have a malabsorption issue, so I didn't have much hope. However, I saw a rise in my levels of .1 - this is a low amount, but given my issues it did have an affect. To anyone needing to raise their Mag levels I also suggest Magnesium spray, as your body absorbs the Mag more effectively than if it is digested. Unfortunately the next step for my is Magnesium infusions. If you are healthy and looking for some extra Mag, then this is the product you should try. Magnesium is the most essential mineral our bodies need to survive.

I was looking for ways to increase my magnesium intake and when taking a solid supplement I did not notice a difference. So if you're looking for a better way to consume magnesium, look no further! This is a game-changer for me. I suffered from really tight calves and feet, and no matter how many tablets of magnesium I took I never saw a difference. I switched to this liquid magnesium and love it, and it really has helped my muscle cramps from working out and just getting stiff with a desk job! It has a very medal taste to it so I add it into some sort of drink to help with the taste.

I wish this tasted better but it does the trick of making me feel calmer and ready for sleep.

Wow. Simply, Wow. This product has made an ENORMOUS impact on my migraine situation. A few months ago I made some serious full bore dietary changes. I weened myself off of my prescription migraine medication due to side effects. I added this Magnesium and a B2 supplement. I take it daily either in a full glass of water OR in an inch of lemonade. Both methods reduce the poor taste of mag. The WOW part is this: I used to take a preventative med daily, and also an acute med when a migraine would strike. About 3 weeks into taking this product daily, I tried it as an acute treatment - at the very FIRST hint of a whiff of a scent of a migraine - if you have migraines, you know what I mean! It actually worked. I am in heaven. I used it as an acute treatment for the next 2 migraines after that. But guess what...... Due to the combination of dietary changes, THIS PRODUCT, and the B2, I haven't had a migraine in 2 months.

First of all I just want to say I LOVE Now supplements. They’re wonderful and reasonably priced. That being said....., OMG, after dismissing others that said it tasted terrible ( I thought, c’mon, don’t be a wimp!) I found out that I could not choke this stuff down no matter what I tried. Believe me, I tried!!! I took it like a shot of whisky, I tried to use a straw to bypass my tastebuds, I tried mixing it with stuff, no, no, and no!! It was so vile it engaged my gag reflex!!! So....I’m sorry but I can’t recommend it because if you have tastebuds at all..,, you can’t take it!!

Taste is horrible. Not sure if it works I'm sure it does but I can't get past the taste. I read the other reviews and was thinking it can't be that bad. For the price and the convenience of liquid form I decided to try it. It's still sitting on my counter months later.

Excelente producto

I didn’t realised how much metallic taste there was when it came to the liquid. But I’m am very happy with the product and to be able to mix it in different items like different cold drinks and different meals. Purchasing this product has made it easier to take, then to take Magnesium in elephant sized pills.
