He should go to AA and get some help. And help he needs before, he bunches a hole in you, instead of drywall. Yes this will work on fixing the hole, but first , get drywall mesh that is self adhering. And use it as directed, on the package. And then apply the paste as directed **Q: Can you nail or screw into the patch to hang a towel rack ?** A: Yes I used an anchor and hanged a towel rack from it. Use the mesh which comes with the kit. Very good product. **Q: Will this work on a panel wall?** A: Best use on drywall. But If you’re patching something small, it should be ok. **Q: What is the size of the fiber patch? The description says 5x5inch, but the package shown in the photo says 4inch self-adhesive patch.
