Great Price, and Really Warm!
I am so happy I bought these snow pants for my husband’s ski trip to Keystone! I was a little worried about him staying warm because he usually gets cold so easily, but these worked out perfectly. The insulation is really great and he said they kept him nice and toasty even when the wind was picking up on the mountain. He even mentioned that they didn't feel heavy or bulky at all while he was skiing. The fit of the Arctix Men's Essential Snow Pants is really nice because the waistband is adjustable, so he could get it just right over his base layers. I also love that they have those reinforced scuff guards at the bottom because he can be kind of rough on his gear. They stayed completely dry all day long which was the most important thing for us. We are definitely impressed with the quality for such a good price. They have all these handy little features like the O-ring for his lift ticket and the boot gaiters that actually kept the snow out of his boots. He’s already planning to wear them again for our next trip and I’m just glad he was comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend for anyone heading to the slopes!

Kept me warm.
Great ski pants. Kept me warm. Wind and water proof. Love the fit and look. The ankle straps had great grips and did not move out of place. A+++

May run large
These seem really well made and high quality, but even a men's medium was huge on my son who usually wears a medium to large. And by huge I mean very long in the legs and large in the waist.

Affordable snow pants
Great snow pants. Ordered these before attending a football game during winter. Pants kept me warm and comfortable. Pants are lined with a warm material. I wore thermals and sweatpants under.

Great buy
These are great. We bought them for our special needs son for an outing that was at night and very cold. The were awsome and I recomend them. He is Down Syndrom and does not handle cold well. These kept his legs toasty warm.

Short Person Approved!
First impressions are that these are such a great fit! It arrived quickly and is definitely very warm. Will be testing them out in Iceland. Granted, the ankles are a bit too big and do not cinch tight enough, however these are a great fit in terms of comfort and length for someone short and is a bit on the heavier side. 5 stars for creating an accessible size range.

Solid Ski Pants! Would Buy Again!
These were my first pair of ski/snow pants. I bought them for a trip to Germany, where there was constant snow. See below for a general overview of pros and cons. Pros: - Waterproof: truly waterproof. I tried them out in rain and snow (up to knee-deep) and there was no water damage or leakage of water inside the pants. - Breathable: never sweat in these despite hiking for hours. - Warm: these pants are very well insulated. I did not have to wear thermals under these and my legs were always warm, even in single-digit (Fahrenheit) weather. I sat on ice and blocks of snow and my legs never got cold. - Durable and well-made: I put these pants through rough terrain and non-stop snow exposure. They held up excellent and no evidence of wear and tear. - Very comfortable - Fit very well: I am a little under 5'4" with a 28 waist. Although these pants were a bit wide at the waist, there are elastic velcro bands on the sides that you can tighten to shrink the waist. Despite this, the pants were still a bit wide at the waist but I can't blame the company for that being that I have a 28 waist and there "Small" size fits more like a 30. Cons: - The only issue I had with these was the length. They are a bit long on me, to the point that the bottom backs of the pants scrap the ground even when I'm wearing snow boots. Again I'm a little shy of 5'4" and usually wear a 30-inch short inseam for my regular jeans and dress pants but these seem to be more of a 30-inch long inseam. But these are the shortest snow/ski pants I could find for this price so I'll take it. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. They definitely did the trick in Germany, where there was constant snow. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable, durable, warm, waterproof pants for cold weather.

Poor construction quality, way too tight in the thigh for a "skiing" pant. Do Not Reccomend.
I am very disappointed and unsatisfied in these "Snow/Ski" Pants. I suppose I will start with how they fit. I am 5'9" ~190lbs athletic fit, and wear a 34 to 36 suit pant or jeans all day long. These pants are so tight in the thigh there is no way these are a legitimate skiing pants. If you know anything about skiing you need to be able to squat, move your hips and bend the knees. Reading all the vendor supplied propaganda of these like: "600 Denier Ballistic are used to reinforce the ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear and tear" I thought they would be perfect for an intermediate skiier, boy was I wrong. These pants and how they fit allowed no room for that resulting in a tear right in the crotch underneath the zipper within 15 minutes of wearing them (pictures attached). This made for a very uncomfortable, embarrassing and cold ski outing. I am a very average skier (green circles and blue squares only) so I definitely not riding these pants hard for them to tear they way they did. The sad part is once I saw the rip and started to inspect the construction of these pants its clear you can see you get what you pay for. My avid skier girlfriend has a pair of similar Arctix pants for women purchased from C0stC0 years ago (5 years ago) and they are holding up well for her. Not these sadly as I had to find. The outer shell is thin, and more importantly the stitching is weak and thing single stitched. Another minor complaint is the bottoms on the bottom of the leg while they work feel cheap and low quality as compared to other retail brand outerwear, but they did work with a little muscle when gloves are on. If they integrity of the pants becomes comprised (a rip) the pants then provide no protection, the wind flies (no pun intended) right in snow gets in and you become cold, wet and miserable. This really put a bad damper on ski trip. Hopefully Arctix will reach out to my defect return and do the right thing by their customers.
