I use them for receiving the output of video cameras I have around my trailer. Since they come without a power supply, I normally get a small 12 volt, 1 amp supply that powers them very well. One of the things I like about them is that they are switchable from 4:3 to 16:9 size screen and even though I use the 16:90 set up, I can check out the other set up if I need to. The only thing about this one that was different from the others I have is this one has no tint adjustment on it. I haven't missed this however, as I noted this monitor seems to have a slightly brighter pictures than the others I have. This was just what I needed for a camera that allows me to check up on my trailer hitch feeders and chase off the ever present raccoons......! ### ⭐⭐⭐ I bought this as part of a backup camera system ... *by G***N on November 18, 2017* I bought this as part of a backup camera system I'm installing in my 2012 Toyota Tundra. It works. The display seems reasonable. My only issue with it was a VERY narrow viewing angle before brightness falls off, removing mounting options. If you want to see this screen well, the face of the monitor MUST be very close to perpendicular to your line of sight. ### ⭐ BUYER BEWARE: ITS NOT A HIGH RESOLUTION MONITOR, GOES BLANK, JUNK. *by E***N on June 7, 2018* I expected a high resolution monitor, it's not very clear. Not impressed at all.UPDATE: After I thought I fixed the flickering, it started back up,then the screen keep going blank. I replaced it with the original monitor to see if it was the wiring, it work's perfect. Looks like I'm sticking with a 4in monitor.
