Poles for white light screw together.. Not bad lights but pain keep on my John boat so installed extra screw to apply pressure on opposite sides. Not sure exact size but holes were already there.. Helped out alot.. **Q: Does it come with an adhesive mount as an alternative to the clamps? Many fiberglass boats will not be able to use these** A: No but the 14192-7 has adhesive pads. **Q: How wide does the clamp open ?** A: 3 1/4" wide **Q: How is it turned on? I had to install a L bracket for the bow and the stern because these would not stay put even after fully tightening down because the surface wasn’t flat.
