Cheaply Made
I owned a Red Devil scrapper for over 20 years and it worked great. I finally needed to replace it and ordered another one. The locking tab bent after only a few uses when pressing down to scrap glue from a board. Apparently the newer versions are a mere shadow of the previous versions and cheaply made from thinner material. I cannot recommend.

Poor imitation of the old Red Devil scraper
I own two old Red Devil scrapers and love them. They lasted close to twenty years and were durable. The new Red Devil scraper is made of smaller gauge metal and the interlock at the seam is weaker that on the old scrapers. It is usable for light work, but will break if much force is applied.If anyone from Red Devil reads this; I would gladly pay three times the price for a duplicate of the old model.
