The Best! Have one of these at work someone else bought and decided to buy one for home. Makes the perfect snow cone! Great for those Hot days when you want something different. Ice texture ranges from shaved to snow cone ice. Would highly recommend

I bought this snow cone maker at the beginning of July and we have used it every day since it came in the mail. The adults love it just as much as the kids. Very easy to use and easy to clean up. The only problem I have had is unscrewing the inner chamber when I wash it...it seems to take a little muscle to make it catch. I would buy this machine again in a heartbeat!! No need to invest in expensive syrups, just buy unsweetened Kool-Aid mix (we like lemon the best). Boil 1 cup of water with 1 1/2 cups of sugar. When it comes to a rolling boil, remove from the heat and stir in the Kool-Aid mix. Let it cool, add to ice shavings and enjoy!! (The original recipe calls for 2 cups of sugar but I prefer a thinner syrup to add to the ice.)

I have owned four of these machines. I eat snow cone ice everyday. This machine makes the fine ice like snow,,, not chipped ice. It works great for awhile but depending on how used the machine was when I got it ( I usually buy them used for cheaper) the blade seems to dull withing a couple months to six months. It still works, it just makes the ice extremely slow so you are sitting there forever. This is a great little machine if you are only occasionally going to make snow cones.

My kids love this and it is an extra way to keep them hydrated in the hot summer days. Not sure about the ice shoot design because it shoots it out straight. We would have preferred it to shoot out in a more downward way, but you just have to aim it more directly. Either way the kids love it and that is all that matters!

Unlike many machines that require you to freeze water in a specific container, or only produce mediocre "crushed ice" like you could get from a refrigerator's ice dispenser, this machine is top notch! You can put in whatever ice cubes you like and the result is a perfectly shaved ice!

Snocones are a great way to cool off in the hot weather. Everyone loves them, kids and adults. This was a great investment for me.

Lots of fun! My kids are having a blast with it.
