Affirmators! Mantras Morning Day Affirmation Cards Deck: 30 Cards

I admit, these aren’t particularly my thing? I’ve been burned too much by toxic positivity and its adherents to be anything less than deeply wary of affirmation stuff, but I know a lot of people who genuinely find it useful and I bought these cards (and the matching “evening” set) for one such person in my life. She seemed to really like them and started going through them immediately, exclaiming over the cute art and reading off the affirmations. She just had a baby and has had some rough time around hormones and post partem (that she is also treating professionally, with her doctor and long-time therapist) and said she was excited to put both these decks in her nursery to pull from in the morning and evening while she’s feeding her baby. I am more into collecting tarot cards and I will say, these are not tarot card quality/thickness/stiffness etc, but they’re not sold as if they are, and honestly, at the price, I wasn’t expecting it. They are cards, not paper, but they’re thin and card board-y rather than flexible card stock. The box they come in is adorable and good quality though, and they made a great, cute little gift, especially paired with the other set. This is basically a copy of my review for the evening set, since I bought and gifted them together and the recipient opened and looked them over at the same time. They definitely work well as a 2-deck set, the messages are different in each, and seem to have a different slant, for something to keep in mind as you go through your day, versus something to think over as you wind down and get ready for the next day, but they also aren’t *required for either deck to make sense. Of the two, I think I like this morning set slightly better, I guess because to me affirmations are more about things to keep in mind for a positive outlook rather than processing stuff that’s already happened, but I don’t know, like I said, I’m not really the audience for this either way, so your mileage may vary. They’re cute, I’m glad I got them for the person I got them for, and I think she liked them.

I'm anti toxic positivity but I can acknowledge that our thoughts have an impact on our lives... These cards feel authentically positive; affirmations with a dash of crusty reality and a side of whimsy. These cards are perfect for me! If you're looking for a good thought injection that doesn't take itself too seriously, these might be the right affirmation cards for you!

These are really sweet. I really enjoy reading them. I think that the comedic value, and the overall messages are very helpful.

I used these to help turn my outlook around during a very stressful time in my life. They really helped me to reshape my thinking each day and learn to let go of the things that were only adding to my stress. The mantras are all well written with cute pictures and even some silly quips here and there. Definitely recommend for anyone needing a little mental boost in the morning to get them through the day.

My wife bought these for her coworkers for their favorite things gift exchange. She likes how they are inspiring but also have a hint of humor in them. She highly recommends them.
