The build quality of the filter feels the same as OEM (the old filter that I had, it had BMW's logo and was installed by the official dealer). There are airflow direction arrows and the frame of the filter is as "stiff" as on OEM filter.Not sure why some people complained about filter being "flimsy" or that they had to "bend" it in some exotic way - these people probably watched wrong installation video. There are 2 videos you can find which show how to replace this filter: the WRONG one (made by some lazy person who skipped necessary step) and the RIGHT one.
