Avent Fast Bottle Warmer with Smart Temperature Control: Warms Evenly, No Hotspots – SCF358/00

I decided to write this review after noticing the amount of people complaining about this product. The building quality is really good. Much, much better than other famous brand that I had in the past, and that after a couple of months of intermittent use it started leaking from the bottom. The presets for the volume work very well too. It is fast (~3-5 minutes to a warm bottle, depending on the volume), and also keeps the ideal temperature once is warm. The only thing that is not very well described in the instructions is how much water you should put in the device. There's a change in the internal diameter, but if you fill with water just until that level, the milk doesn't comes warm enough. This is perhaps the reason why some customers are complaining about the bottle warmer not working properly. We now add water until it reaches the same height than the milk in the bottle and now it works like a charm.

This is a good bottle warmer, it works well and I use it every night for the baby. It is very easy to use and keeps the milk nice and warm without overheating it and making it to hot. I recommend it to all. It keeps the milk just at the right warmth for long periods so is perfect! it definitely improves the standard of life for the little one even though it is such a simple small thing :-)

We have been trying to use this for a while now and we just can’t seem to get it to work. We found that the bottle didn’t warm up enough in the time they state it should, so instead we have to leave it in there for 25 minutes plus. Even then sometimes it isn’t warm. It’s very hit and miss. I like the idea but this didn’t work for us

Takes far too long to heat up. Does not take space and looks ok and easy to use. Functions well and does not leak.

Got it to warm my baby milk as long as i use for him formula. Very easy , quick , just an amazing product. I should have bought it earlier. If u are a new mum or expecting a baby do not let it without buying. One of the best purchases i have made for my baby

I use this with MAM bottles and refrigerated breast milk. It takes much, much longer than 3 mins to warm (I typically heat 100mls at a time and when I timed how long it takes to reach temperature it clocked in at over 25 minutes). Despite it having lights which are supposed to indicate heating progress, I have to leave it heating a lot longer after the count down lights suggest it’s done. And because the outside of the bottle heats up much more quickly than the milk inside, I find I have to keep taking the bottle out and testing it on my wrist to see if it’s ready. It can get quite stressful if your baby is crying or grizzling for milk and you’re just waiting and waiting. So overall it’s not nearly as convenient as I hoped when I bought it. We’ve reverted to using our Tommee Tippee portable bottle warmer, which is essentially just a slightly fancier way of using hot water and a bowl - and it only takes five minutes. On the plus side I do like the fact that the Philips warmer has a keep-warm function that supposedly means you can keep the bottle toasting away for up to an hour. Handy, especially if you pop the bottle in good time before you know you’re going to need it. It’s also easy to use, and a nice compact size.

We started off with the NUK bottle warmer until we got tired of the milk always being boiling! This is slower than the NUK but it is more accurate as you can say exactly how many ounces of milk you have (if it is refrigerated just increase it by an extra ounce). We now have 2 (one upstairs and one downstairs).

Je trouve que ce chauffe-biberon est très utile pour une maman afin de pouvoir donner un biberon à la bonne température à son bébé. Le produit est de bonne qualité. Il faut cependant patienter un peu plus qu’un micro-ondes. Mais au moins on sait qu’on donne la bonne température. Le produit a été bien emballé. La livraison a été correct, je recommande
