I set these under two rows of risers I built for my home theater. Bought used Floaters, but they all looked like new. They recommended placement every 16", but in some cases you can easily move them to better balance/distribute the load (I used a pry bar to raise the platform where needed and they easily slid on the floor with 30-lb roofing felt).
