The "other" drive won't handle the lower density disks - 7.44K ones. This one does, it works GREAT! And, even though the instructions don't mention Macs, it worked just fine with no drivers required on my Mac (Mavericks). I highly recommend this drive! Note that it appears to ship from overseas, I got mine much faster than the expected delivery. However, it does do the job that I wanted it to do and that was to pull old forgotten pictures off it, even if the process is slow because floppy's only hold so many pictures at a time. Also it won't read a picture for instance if the transfer has an error. Still, I would recommend it to others who are looking to retrieve old pics and yes I'm running Windows 10 but there wasn't a problem with the 2 component's working together as along as an error doesn't occur during the transfer of info from the old computer to the floppy. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars I would like all of my money refunded *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2016* I received the suggestion to try the floppy disk and installation program on another system, using an operating system lower than Windows 10.
