All I have to do is set the BT volume on the tablet to FULL. If a user is using a regular receiver or integrated amplifier, you probably will have the BT set to only 50% of the volume, since the built-in preamplifier in your receiver/amp will amplify the sound to necessary volume. Connection is stable and I have tried to connect to this unit via the Samsung Tab A from 2 floors up. My listening room is in the basement. I have to be on the stairs between first and second floor to get a connection. Had some friends over and pairing was very simple. Though they are now music enthusiasts like me, they were amazed to hear how their Spotify music sounds in a dedicated listening room. I could not do this previously since my system is passive and lacked a BT receiver. Soundwise, it sounds phenomenal for a BT Receiver. The DACs are the same as in some megabuck dedicated CD/SACD players. I use the free Spotify and not the premium version. So cannot comment on really hi-rez streaming. Sell me on why 150.00 over a similar item costing 35.00?** A: We installed a professional sound system in a bar/restaurant. Normally I do not like Bluetooth for high fidelity since it's original purpose was phones. The customer however had specified Bluetooth that could be sent from their phones to the system. The first unit we installed was a cheaper unit, and we had interference problems with the building structure, other signal sources, and lack of distance from receiver. The sound quality was also lacking and the output voltage was low requiring additional pre-amplification.We replaced the lower cost unit with the auris True Hi-Fi unit, and it solved our interference problems, increased the range at which the signal would function, had much better clarity of sound signal and had enough output voltage to eliminate the added pre-amplifier. I would have to say I was very impressed with their product, and this would be the only unit I would consider using in another installation where Bluetooth compatibility was required.If you are using this in the home, perhaps it's a bit of overkill on the distance to sound source (phone) or need to eliminate interference, but it's audio quality is vastly superior. **Q: Why will my auris blume hd not pair with amazon alexa devices like echo dot???** A: I have the same issue. I tried a Gen 2 and a Gen 3 Echo Dot. Neither see the Auris as an available BT source. My cellphone connects quickly with excellent audio quality and range. I will try a Gen 4 Dot next before returning. **Q: Can i use the digital audio out and the analog rca out simultaneously ?** A: I've never tried but I don't see why not. I only use digital out. **Q: Does the product include the usb power / rca / spidf cables?** A: Mine did come with a small USB power cube and cable (easily plugged into the power outlet on the back of my stereo), and RCA stereo cable. I have an antique analog stereo receiver. Use it to listen to local FM and play from collection of classic vinyl albums. Ran across this DAC and noted all the positive reviews.
