I'm a very picky eater and have a touchy stomach, so a lot of times I can't stand the taste of protein powders and if I don't like it, I'm not going to use it regularly. I now use it regularly after lifting and/or crossfit/cardio workouts 4 times a week. So far I've made it with water and with lactose-free skim milk. Obviously, it tastes better with the milk, but it was still doable with water, which many proteins can't boast. I keep meaning to make a smoothie/shake with it but haven't gotten around to it yet.Previously, I tried using Syntrax Matrix protein as recommended by someone at Vitamin Shoppe as a good protein for women. The taste was fine, but I found that when I used it, it would really upset my stomach. It was a very unpleasant experience and I was wary to try something else. But after reading the reviews for this I figured I'd go ahead and give it a try and I'm glad I did! I have more energy than I have had for years, and with triplets I am run ragged. It is great tasting, it mixes well with hot and cold beverages, and Im not as hungry. It is quick to make. It does not spike my blood sugar and blood pressure. I have added the shakes b4 meals. 1 shake in am as soon as I wake up with my coffee...it taste like hot chocolate, 1 for lunch mixed with water, 1 for supper, and 1 b4 I go 2 bed with skim milk. I have tried everything from pills to drinks to increase my energy and curb my appetite and this works for me. I have not experienced any bloating or bowel issues as I have with other products. I will update at a month . I am 42, type 2 diabetic, and have PCOS, the only exercise is chasing my triplets.
