Nordic Ware 3-in-1 Breakfast set, 2-Piece, White

These kind of things often cook unevenly because of the microwave, not the product. I saw reviews complaining that this doesn't close tightly (it doesn't have to to work; I googled that). I've only used it once and one side needed a few more seconds (I started with 45, as they suggest). Cooking for 60 seconds both eggs had firm yolks. I'll play with it more because it's worth it to me to have easy eggs and very easy cleanup. No need to spray it first, but you can. I had to loosen the eggs, but then they slid out cleanly. Only uses a tiny amount of water on top of the eggs, and it worked fine. I haven't used the other thing for "McMuffin" eggs, scrambled, I presume, but it's a nice add-on. I think this is worth it, but don't assume it's a miracle appliance. The third photo was my second try using this and it came out perfectly at 53 seconds, with cooked whites and still some runny yolk. But I also found that putting this appliance on the side of the microwave turntable, not in the middle, may have made a difference since microwaves do cook unevenly. I'm happy with this.

This little contraption is great. I have needed more protein in breakfast and getting out a skillet all the time prevents me from cooking breakfast everyday. This cooks an egg fast for a quick and easy egg sandwich. And it slides out without any oil. The poacher doesn’t close all the way so I put a rubber band on it and it worked great. Then pop in the dishwasher.

This is my second time purchasing this. The first one last about 1.5 years before breaking in half. Hoping this one lasts longer. This one came with a bonus egg poacher that I didn’t have last time and really like. The standard poacher works as advertised and the bonus container makes more of an egg patty. Great for an egg sandwich on the go. 4 stars only because the first one didn’t last as long as I felt it should. But it works well. Greet for quick and healthy eggs.

Make good poached eggs. Don't put in dishwasher as will warp and then not close properly.

Outstanding purchase! I ordered the 2-piece set, although I have only used the two-cavity egg poacher thus far. The first time I used it, I wasn’t as pleased with the results. What I realized was that I had 1) used too much water and 2) hadn’t arranged the two-cavities equidistant to the center of the microwave. By that I mean that on the turntable, originally I put them in like a slice of pie and they didn’t cook evenly. When I arranged them like they are the crust of the pie along the edge of the turntable, then it is perfection. Benefits: 1. Cooks 2 eggs in 1 minute 2. No mess from exploding egg pieces in microwave 3. Easy cleanup of poacher Prior to using this poacher, I did typically microwave eggs. It can be difficult to get cooked egg off ceramic dishes even if using bread or a tortilla to contain much of the egg. Highly recommended time saver!!!

Easy to use and easy to clean, quick breakfast .

Cover does not stay closed. One egg is fully cooked, the other is not. The last time I used it, I threw it away after the egg exploded in my microwave, even after poking the yokes/following the directions.

I didn't think a microwaved egg would be very good, but these do a great job. They basically taste just like a poached egg, quick and easy. As for those reviews complaining that the lid does not close, it is not supposed to close, it needs to be able to let the steam escape, unless you want egg exploding all over the inside of your microwave.
