I've purchased a number of SanDisk products over the years and have yet to be disappointed. This is my first purchase of the Flash Drive Ultra and I find the quality and performance to be excellent. Speed is good and well within the benchmarks stated as far as read/write speeds. I'm not real crazy about the thumb open / close mechanism allowing dust or other foreign matter to infiltrate the Male USB port insert, but I guess time will tell. At this price point per drive, I don't really have much to complain about. I generally do a visual inspection of my drives anyhow, so blowing dust particles out or using a Q-tip dipped in Alcohol to remove any debris is simple enough. The instructions are straight forward and easy to understand for even the most untechnical amongst us and the RescuePro Deluxe Software included is a very nice feature for when those magical "OOPS!" moments occur. I think most of us have had at least one occurrence that left us scrambling for data recovery software after a drive was corrupted or an accidental deletion of files and folders that bypassed the desktop Trash Bin. The application comes with both Mac OS and Microsoft compatible versions ready to install from the disk as well as a download link for any additional copies. Registration / Activation is inscribed on an insert inside the drive packaging. Open the drive packaging carefully to keep this vital information from being damaged. SanDisk is a name that has been around for a while. Good quality. Never had one fail on me. Speed of read and write is good, connector solid. It's small enough to pocket without causing problems. A good design if you need to attach a lanyard. Passes Validrive testing.

Great and reliable flash drive. I have bought it twice. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't give you 512GB it gives 460GB. I thought maybe the first time I got it was just a onetime issue but nope only 460. It's weird that I don't see nobody else saying this but you are not getting 512GB. The price keeps going up as well so I won't be buying this size again but SanDisk is reliable so I will get there other sizes. That's my only complaint but great brand everything was solid!

It works, is sturdy good build and does not feel cheap.

These are fine for backups of directories or even partitions when they're not too big. There is no protective cap for the USB plug, instead it's a push-the-button, retract-the-USB-plug model. Not lightning fast but they do the job.

Stores a lot of data and easy to use. Uploads and downloads quickly, Like that you can slide the tip into the case to protect it from damage and dust.
