Aronia Original Organic Aronia Berry Powder, Chokeberry, 3.5 oz (100 g)

Plain from the spoon residue it tasted like nondescript dirt. It is fine enough to mix with a smooth texture. The zip lock envelope does not reseal, so I transferred the powder to an 8 oz. glass bottle. They do not show the 3.5 oz. zip lock bag in the ad. I mixed it with sheep yogurt. I am adding the actual 3.5 oz. container photograph here. It looks like a canister there. The color is delightful. I trust it more than a USA product.

I mix this powder wth other powders such as blueberry and beet powders to create a healthful drink. I like the taste of this aronia berry powder. It mixes easily into the liquid I use and it goes down easily. It's not bitter and has a unique flavor. A little goes a long way, so the product will last awhile. I'm taking it for the health benefits, especially for the vitamin c. This is my first purchase of aronia powder and I'm happy with it. I think it's a valuable supplement to have and use on a daily basis.

very hard to mix in a smooth but does mix like dehydrated fruits. just dont think youll mix and desolve in water, its dried fruit basically

Very good aronia berry or “choke berry” powder. It is 3.5 oz (100g) and comes in a cardboard canister with a plastic pull top lid. I use a small scooper that I have from another powder I had to scoop it. Do not use too much powder or you will have a rumbly stomach ache and diarrhea. I found out the hard way. Hehe. A small scoop is all you need- probably 1/3 a teaspoon or less. The picture shows it mixed in plain water to see it’s true color and consistency. I usually use it with other things such as: pomegranate, beet root, allulose sweetener, etc. This is a sour berry, so it will need something like that to sweeten it up a bit. To your health!

Makes a berry smoothie taste fantastic. But it’s hard to get the powder to mix with water to drink.

I love to add freeze dried powders to my yogurts, salads, shredded vegetables, sprinkle them on fruit. I can see why other people say to mix it to other powers to make it more palatable. It feels like eating a handful of dust. I just received it and I made a bowl of cottage cheese with some shredded vegetables and nuts, definitely I would have enjoyed more without the aronia powder. Now my question is, is it the brand or just aronia berries? I don’t mind tart even bitter flavos but I really dislike this. For the health benefits I will stick to my black currants, black raspberries, acai, sea buckthorn, cranberries etc but add this to food I enjoy to make them less enjoyable, no thanks. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I am relatively new to baking and currently exploring myself. I had a vision for a blueberry sponge cake and wanted to opt for a healthy way to dye the cream. I paired it with Honeyberry strawberry powder a little and was happy. The aronia powder gives a rich colour without a strong (if any) flavour. I think it is going to be splendid in the sponge itself making it beautifully purple. Will be trying that one next. I do recommend this aronia powder. A great way to dye your baking in a healthy way. And it’s also going to last a while. A little goes a long way.

Pas beaucoup de goût dans de l’eau.. d’ailleurs très difficile à diluer. Je met la poudre dans du miel sur une tartine et la!! Trop bon on sent bien le fruit et se mélange très bien
