Fabulous product for repotting eyeshadow. Strong magnets. I would recommend using the Fixy kit though too as they all fit and work well together. I had to go straight to the Fixy site for the actual kit.

I have been wanting to purchase this for a while because I had a juvia's eyeshadow palette that had a broken pallet color. I wasn't leaving the store without it and I figured I could easily fix it on my own however, it did not work for me hence this purchase. First I want to say I was truly disappointed that the bottle I received was not full and was not sealed. This honestly made me afraid to use it. I wanted to return it and then quickly noticed it wasn't eligible for returns. At the price that it was I didn't want to risk any type of adverse reaction because my skin is so sensitive. So I decided to contact Amazon customer service and they we're very understanding and gave me a full refund for it and said I did not have to return it, that I could just discard it. I thought about trying to purchase it again but decided against it for fear that it would come in again the same way. But after a little bit of prayer, 🤣, I decided to go ahead and try it. For the price, this stuff is absolutely worth it. There's so much that you do get and you only need very little. I decided to just use a few drops from the bottle directly instead of putting it in the spray bottle that it comes with. Within a couple of hours that one little eyeshadow was as good as new. Believe it or not I've had that pallet for about a year and I am just now getting around to fixing it and I'm so glad I did. They really deserve five stars however the way that it came in is the only reason why I gave it 4. If the company would make sure the bottles are hemetically sealed prior to shipping, that would be great. Other than that it is a wonderful product. This should last anyone that takes care of their makeup quite possibly up to a year or two if used correctly. This now makes me want to purchase the other stuff that they have because I do have some shades that I would love to mix.

I wish I would have noticed that this was nonreturnable before purchasing. BUYER BEWARE: you cannot turn for safety reasons because it contains liquid. “If the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement.” This product works very POORLY on mineral makeup. So if you are going to use this with mineral makeup, you’ll be very disappointed. I expected more from this product because of the cost. There’s also not a lot of similar options that I could find as an alternative to this product. I tried to press 8 different things including eye shadows, blush, and bronzers. I feel as though I wasted more product than I saved. I experimented with different ways such as using more spray (binder) or using none. The results were disappointing each time. I also tried watching videos to troubleshoot my issues but they were not much help. My makeup remains powder or crumbles easily. All the makeup remains cracked and flaky. I’m annoyed with this product because the press will not fit standard sizes of tins. So any tins that I’ve previously bought that are not the Fixy brand, will not work for this press. Most makeup comes in tin sizes 26mm, 36mm, and 46mm. The Fixy press will only fit 27mm, 37mm, and 47mm. So you must use Fixy brand or you will not get a good press. I feel as though I’ve wasted not only expensive makeup but also additional money by purchasing this product. I would not recommend this product.

I'm notorious for having to fix makeup products and I'm so glad I found this to assist in that. I actually have the entire kit but needed a refill of the liquid. I won't ever use anything else. Before finding this I used to use just plain alcohol, and while this also has alcohol in it, it's not nearly as drying and doesn't change the composition of the product. I will buy this just to keep stock because I'm afraid it will be discontinued like every other cosmetic product I fall in love with.

This works wonders for pressing eyeshadows and glitter.

You can save a ton by using regular rubbing alcohol in a cheap mister bottle. The key to getting pans to not crumble again when dry is pressing - I've used coins of the correct size, sanitized AND wrapped in fabric. I have had great success with rubbing alcohol on multiple occasions and 45$ for 4oz is highway robbery when a 16oz bottle of isopropyl will run you maybe 10$.
