Great scanner for the price for VaG cars
Bought as a replacement for my first one that was stolen at a VAG dealership when being serviced (a whole other story). Use to check car before long road trips and needed to clear airbag light once when I reconnected a plug I shouldn’t have when changing a cabin filter. Great product, better than the bargain cheap OBd scanners out there but not the same field as a VAGCOM unit

Works perfectly well! (A3 2023)
This review is for the cheapest basic OBDELEVEN 2 dongle thats out now. Not sure what all the complaints are about? As long as you check your car year compatibility on the OBDELEVEN website before purchase. You should be good to go. I bought this to fix some minor annoyances and unlock certain things on an A3 (2023). Also to do service resets when needed. A little bit of tech savvyness is required but nothing too complex. I would advise you to install the Microsoft authenticator app on you phone before using the OBDELEVEN app (so you don't get caught out). This is just for a required 2FA authentication. In terms of diagnostics, you can do a full car scan for free but it will cost credits to use the "one click apps" and do things like video in motion (100 credits) or lane assist setting memory (10 credits). Most basic things cost 10 credits. To buy credits at a discounted rate, simply buy them from the website not in the app! Also, I just searched for promo codes which again, I used on the website. I much prefer this method than a monthly subscription. In use, the process of activating the above "one click apps" was very straight forward. Insert OBD2 dongle, open the car bonnet, turn on the ignition then choose the feature you want activated. Job done. Works perfect. The speed of a car scan is very good. The speed of activating an app is instant. Note: This review was done using a Samsung S25 Ultra. I can't comment on the same experience with an iPhone.

It does the job and it does the job well (EPC light diagnosed!)
I received a used device that was locked to someone else’s account with a PIN. Returned this & will order another, and I’ll adjust the review if this one is okay. EDIT: I ordered another device & this one was new. It found 7 fault codes on my mk5 golf that my generic Bluetooth OBDII couldn’t find. I’m very impressed - I noticed the indicator on the driver’s side mirror was slightly illuminated after turning the car off but I thought nothing of it. I bought this due to getting an intermittent EPC light (I got the answer to the cause of the light too!), but this also told me there’s a fault in the driver’s side mirror circuit, so it looks like it can pinpoint very minor issues. It clearly states a lot of the features require a subscription or credits, but considering this costs about £60 you’re still paying about a third of what a VW dealer would charge to scan for EPC faults (which is why I got this, and you can use it more than once rather than going to VW every time you need your car scanned). I feel there should be more free features included because it’s not exactly cheap which is why I only gave 4 stars, but if you’re just looking for a decent scanner that can diagnose EPC lights, I would recommend this. I’ve used a fair few Bluetooth OBDII scanners over the years, and this is the only one I’ve found that works on iOS/iPhone.

Saving money on garage diagnostics.
Garage wanted £140 to diagnose faulty rear parking sensors. Brought the obd eleven for £64 and once set up it showed which one was faulty, so saved me £74. Also checked my milage which was correct on all systems checked.

I was impressed, at first...
When I first got this device, I had an issue that I assumed was my MAF sensor. I was able to use it to check and confirm. It took a while to connect and set up but it worked. Now I've used it twice in the past week to check a fault code. The first time it took about 10 minutes from turning it on to a point where it would read the codes. This I assumed was normal as it hadn't been used for a while. Thile second time, days later, it still takes 10 minutes to get to the code result stage which is 4 times longer than any other code reader I have. The other issue is the connectivity. I should be able to set my vehicle, do any updates in my home, connected to my WiFi, and then go when I like with my car... Oh no no. You need both internet connectivity AND to be within range of your car for this to work. Great if you can park close to your home in an area with good signal, not so much if it is in a shed 500m away in an area with poor signal. Finally, I have an engine management light on at the moment and the reader is saying "no faults". So it doesn't even do its job anymore...

Potential is there, it’s a handy device, but plagued by subscription or in app credit purchases.
The actual device is sound, it connected easy, identified my car and read all the codes (there were no issues so I hope it was reading them all haha) so with that regard I cannot fault it. My issues though is that I ordered this fully aware you need an account and credits to use the one click apps to change settings, mods etc. What isn’t as clear though, these apps are not a one time purchase, which I assumed they would be, my bad I guess. So you have to pay 10-100 credits per app, which is roughly £1.99 - £17.99 of you purchase from the store (or nearly double if I use in app purchases on my iPhone). but this is EVERY TIME YOU USE IT, and also if it doesn’t work as you expect, you have PAY AGAIN to deactivate it. There are subscriptions available with a certain amount of credits, but the unlimited ones seem to be up to £250 for a couple of years. Some examples, are light tests. Really handy to check lights on your own, press the button and they will turn on. But each and every light group (brakes, headlights, fog lights, indicators etc) are a separate purchase, and because you have to use credits every time, you need to pay again next time you want to check. You can change logos and colours on the dash and screen. But if you don’t like it, it’s 10 credits to try it, and another 10 to change it back. If items were just one time purchases, even just tied to one car this would be an easy 5 stars, but as it is, this is being returned.

good to read error codes, app is easy to use , useful to check your Audi car
I'm using this device only to read and clear error codes. I'm not interested in paid features like adaptations or customization... For Audi A5 convertible OBD eleven is capable of reading convertible roof errors which is very useful and why I bought this device. Diagnostics is way more detailed compared to the handheld ODB2 reader I bought for 20 pounds. App is well designed and easy to use. I can recommend this device.

Amazing 🤩
I have tried so many of these OBD2 scanners and none of them worked. I have a 2011 Passat TDI and had a airbag light on my bash and all it needed always clearing and none of the others that I tried even saw I had a airbag light fault but this one found the fault and cleared it perfectly. You can do so much with this it's amazing this is definitely a keeper!!! If you have a VAG group car this is the one!!!

“OBDeleven Pro = VAG Coding Heaven in Your Phone – Worth Every Penny”
Next-gen OBDeleven is insane. Paired instantly to my iPhone, unlocked one-click coding on my 2023 Golf R (mirror dip, needle sweep, exhaust flaps, DRL tweaks) in minutes. Long-coding and adaptations are stupid easy now. Also cleared my buddy’s BMW oil service light and read live data on a Mini. Credits are cheap, app is smooth, and it’s half the price of VCDS. If you own any VAG or BMW-group car, just buy it. Game-changer!
