Master Lock Magnetic Key Holder, 1 Pack, Black

We bought these in bulk to stick on our tractors to keep keys in. They held up really well! We did not have water seeping in and they stayed closed even during equipment usage. The magnet is incredibly strong and did not slip from where it was placed. In all, we will be ordering them again!

I ordered this after my wife and son accidentally locked themselves out of the house in cold weather while I was a few hours away from home. I wanted to make sure that didn't happen again, but I also didn't want to leave a key concealed in an obvious place that any potential thief would know to look. In my case, I only needed it to fit a house key, but if you wanted to conceal a vehicle key in it with a fob, it's plenty big enough to do that. The magnet is strong and holds solidly, giving you more options to conceal in very inconspicuous locations.

So far it’s stayed but am worried about the magnet strength. I’ve bought two of these and have them in two separate vehicles. The one on my older truck has a great magnet connection! Won’t budge at all works awesome. The one on my car however isn’t as strong. While the magnet is the same- the connection to the different metals isn’t as stronger. I guess the newer vehicles don’t have as much metal on them. It’s still attached to my my car after several weeks, but I worry every time I hit a bump.

It work really good I used more to put on a Apple tracker on my wife’s vehicle when we went on vacation because we were going out state some where we have never been and I didn’t want our vacation to be ruined because having our vehicle stolen but it’s still stuck there a really strong magnet

Was larger than I expected, which is fine. Very powerful magnet as well. Is tricky to open, people with arthritic hands might really struggle. It's well built.

I've had 3 of these since Aug 2024 and I will agree with most other reviews that the magnets are extremely strong, and there is a lot of space inside the hideaway. However, if you are in a hurry to get one of these open to get in, you will be sorely disappointed. I have these for my house and there have been several times I've tried to open a door to let a child use the restroom, and we had to scrap that idea and run upstairs to get inside. They were much easier to open when they were new. I haven't tried any tricks I've recently read in the comments, but it's not worth it to me to have a spare key that I can't use. Fantastic idea, fantastic magnet, poorly executed slide opening.

It's a no-brainer to have an extra key In a magnetic box hidden underneath your car. I did not like it what I lost my keys and had to have a guy from another city come in with an extra set. I don't intend on losing my keys but if it happens I'm not stranded in 2 seconds I have my spare key from the magnetic box. I would really recommend this as it's a lifesaver
