We have several 'inactive' drives at any one time, and occasionally need to transport drives to locations. Until now, we have slipped the drives back into the original anti-static plastic sleeves and stowed them in a foam-cushioned case. Not so great - potential for loose foam pieces, dust, dirt, and secure fit were all concerns. Also not convenient if you want to just take one drive to a location or studio. These cases feature a sturdy construction (plastic thickness and quality is quite good); a good snap latch; good edge seal (wouldn't dunk these in water, but a spill shouldn't be a disaster).
