You will need to buy a component to attach the dishwasher water inlet as it is not supplied. It depends on the type of tap you’re trying to connect. See attached video for the two components we purchased. The first is the adapter to allow for connection to our tap the second was a splitter to allow for access to water through the tap without needing to disconnect the dishwasher.

Does it come supplied with waste pipe and water pipe.

Yes! The dishwasher is connected to a waste pipe (1700 mm) and a water pipe (1500 mm).

Does this need to be connected to the water pipe?

Yes. The dishwasher is connected to a waste pipe and a water pipe. All water filling and discharging are controlled by the programme.
