Will liquid latex release from this pretty easily or should I coat the sculpt in baby powder?

As long as you don't reheat it, it will keep it's details. It easily removes from latex

Can i use this clay to make stopmotion puppets?

Once it cools you can work in details. But to move it for stop motion would probably not work to well. It isn't veryaleable once it cools

Would you be able to use it with petrabond sand to make a mold?

Yes, but you may have to toss your clay rather than reusing it

after it dries, is it soft or is it hard? And will it be heavy or light after it dries, say after making a mask?

It doesn’t dry. It is a wax based clay. It gets hard in cool temperatures. And soft with warm temperatures. If you want something permanent I’d say do a casting of your creation or use different clay
