I absolutely love this product. I’ve been recommending it to everyone around me. Recently, I ordered several other products, but after just one use, they rusted and became unusable. So, I searched online and found a recommendation for this product, and I’m so glad I ordered it. The cutting itself requires much less effort, making it incredibly easy to use. I was worried the handle being on top would make it uncomfortable to apply pressure, but it cuts smoothly with much less force. Plus, the blade doesn’t stick out, so there's no risk of accidentally cutting yourself. Unlike other brands, the cut is horizontal rather than diagonal, so the edges aren’t as sharp. Another great feature is that it sticks to the magnet immediately after cutting, so the cut pieces don’t fall into the can, it’s so convenient! The design is functional and smooth to the touch. You’ll really feel the quality as soon as you hold it. And with a 3-year warranty, I really feel like I can trust it. While the price is a bit higher compared to other products, I’m extremely satisfied.

The Starfit can opener works well on small and large cans, and leaves a clean rounded edge. The magnet holds the lid after it is cut from the can so I am pleased with the safe operation of the can opener.

I had a [fancy name-good grips] for a decade or more and it finally wasn't sharp enough to cut so I needed a replacement. Reviews sounded good and I was not disappointed. So ergonomic, it's actually easier to turn! It was perfectly able to cut the top (via the sides) so no sharp edges on top, and the top doesn't fall in. Update- not my fave now bc this does cut the top off underneath the lip and leave sharp rim, and some liquid may drip out while cutting- on the can so be careful. On the old one, I had to use little teeth to grab and pry it up but the built in magnet in this one lifted top right off. I don't have arthritic hands but I imagine this one would be the easy to use for those with achy paws. Just know this is the place flat on top type and beware of the sharp ridge left on the can.

This is a partial safety can opener. I have the Amazon Basics safety can opener, but it recently started giving me problems. I like these style can openers because the lid doesn't fall into the can or get dirt into the food. Especially food that will be consumed right from the can or won't be cooked. Even though the lid isn't sharp with the can opener, the can side is extremely sharp. However, the plus side is that it is a MUCH easier can opener to use. I'll deal with the warranty on the Amazon Basics one, but I feel as if this one is a better option. Can't have enough can openers in the house or at work!

So easy to use! Best can opener I’ve ever had, especially as a left handed person I find this way easier to use than regular style can openers. Seemed silly to splurge on a can opener but it’s totally worth the extra few dollars!
