The best storage box for cds I know. Very sturdy and can take plenty of weight. The plastic can be cracked or broken with a sharp blow, esp. the lid.

The 6.5 L storage box was the PERFECT size for me to store the homemade DVD's of my family in. Each dvd was put in a (CheckOutStore Original Vintage Old Style Standered CD Jewel Case Heavy Duty). There is no side to side sliding and the lid is domed so plenty of height. Will definitely be ordering more of these!

I have many CDs and have no room for shelving. I did find very well made plastic boxes that fit the bill & the CDs fit well. The only drawback is that they do not have a cover and thus my CDs are exposed to dust, etc. Have now found the solution with these boxes. They are very sturdy, easy to fill, easy to stack. and they have a sturdy cover. Well worth the price. Should last for many years.

Did not come in the color that is depicted. I got clear unwanted blue. But everything else is fine. Fits my cds perfectly, or my cds fit perfectly now that I don't use jewelry cases

I bought about 16 of these to store my CD collection, minus their heavy/bulky plastic cases. Unfortunately, those are not recyclable, so they all ended up in landfill. I left aside CD box sets where the box was essential component of the product. Also, a few of my CD's had such sentimental or collector value that I retained them in their plastic cases. Such CD's still fit the storage case just fine. Now, after many hours work over several months, my CD collection, which used to sprawl in a dozen or so banker's boxes all over the downstairs storage room, now fits neatly on two shelves of wire-rack shelving. For ease of retrieval, the original inserts are included and placed to be readable from above. There are three alphabetical collections, one by artist (pop, jazz, blues etc.), another by composer (classical etc.), and the third of World music (primarily by artist).

A strong, smart storage box, with clips on each side that lock the lid into place. Boxes of the same size can also be stacked, as there is a grooved area on the lid, and raised edges on the base. I needed something to store my few, old, Nintendo games, and this fit perfectly. Having the carts inside, there is plenty of breathing room, and to add more to the collection. It's as advertised, can fit CDs and DVDs, the lid has extra height space to accomodate for DVD sets in cardboard sleeves. I've purchased a smaller Really Useful Box in the past, and it has lasted over 10 years! No yellowing, weakness or damage. When I saw this offer, I confidently made the purchase. It's easy to clean - save antibacterial wipes, and the like, and instead, use soap and water, and a spare nail brush to get into the plastic grooves. A microfibre cloth makes drying easy, although there are some nooks and crannies that may need airing, before putting everything away. Highly recommended!
