Exactly what we needed for 3 Chronic-laying Conures
I purchased these (my second set of them!) for my three Cinnamon Green Cheeks that got into a laying spree. They are so close to their own egg size, shape and color that my girls easily adapted to them when I exchanged their eggs for these faux ones. I kept some eggs in their main cage and put the second set in their nighttime cage. They are no longer laying their own eggs, that was exactly why I purchased them in the first place. They hold up well, work exactly as intended, and were worth every penny. Chronic egg laying can cause all kinds of health issues for your birds and these have been a perfect remedy. Added note: the eggs weight and the way they roll was exactly like their own. They warm up under them and hold the heat for a few minutes after they pop out to get food or water.

Works for Lorikeets; Great size & Quality
Helped my very easily stimulated rainbow lorikeet stop feeling like being a mama every other season. Working very well.

Worked for our cockatiel
These are slightly larger than our cockatiels natural eggs but they are the only thing that stopped her from constantly laying more and more eggs. So glad we tried them!

8 piece artificial parrot eggs
We have a bonded pair of rescued Conures that laid an egg! It was suggested to us to remove their egg to avoid a hatching and replace it with this artificial egg. It worked out well, they did not seem to know the difference or be disturbed by the switch. They both lost interest in the artificial egg after a few days and we removed it, washed it and stored it away. We are satisfied with this product!

Good Quality
The photo on the left shows the set of 8 dummy eggs I purchased in this set. The photo on the right shows an actual egg from my cockatiel side by side with an egg from the set. As you can see, the dummy eggs are somewhat larger than what my bird actually produces. ( I deducted one star for accuracy of size). My sweetie pie is stuck in a non-stop nesting marathon, and I am worried about her health. She has laid 4 clutches in the past 10 months. After reading up on the use of dummy eggs to curb chronic egg laying, I will now be giving her all 8 eggs at once as recommended, after she lays the first egg of her next new clutch. For now, I have removed the 5 natural eggs in her present clutch, and replaced them with 7 dummy eggs, as she looks ready to lay another egg. I’ll replace the new egg as well. My bird has accepted the dummy eggs just fine, so I am happy about that. She has tucked them all underneath her and is taking excellent care of them. The eggs are smooth and sturdy feeling. They are washable and seem like they will last a long while. A good purchase overall.

Perfect size for a Quaker Monk Parrot
Perfect size for my Quaker who keeps laying eggs that break. Hopefully this will satisfy her need so she doesn’t keep laying more.

Great for a cockatiel
They are pretty similar to my Cockatiels eggs, maybe just a little bit bigger than the smallest ones my cockatiel lays. They worked for about three months to keep her from laying any additional eggs, but when the seasons changed she got a dose of hormones and laid another egg. I added a picture of the fake eggs to the left and my cockatiel’s real egg to the right.

My bird says these are as good as her real eggs!
My cockatiel accepted these eggs! She rolled them under her next to the real ones she laid. My vet and I are hoping they satisfy her need for a full nest and she stops laying more eggs (along with other changes advised by my vet).

A++ These were fantastic!!! They are weighted and smooth. I definitely recommend!! They are worth every penny! I previously bought a couple cheap versions elsewhere that were hollow light and had rough seams which were completely useless. I bought these and keep them on hand as they worked great!!. These eggs have a solid weight to them and are smooth. They closely mimick my birds eggs. My Green cheek conure excepted them with no issues. Each time she laid an egg I replaced it with a fake egg. I let her sit on the fake eggs until she gave up on them on her own, then I removed a fake egg, one a day until they were gone. She stopped laying. I bought the conure size they were a bit bigger than my conures eggs but they were the closest size next to her natural eggs. The next size down was way too small so i recommend getting the size they recommended. I would definitely recommend! Im so glad i have them on hand so if shes starts laying again i can add, replace as necessary.

They are slightly bigger than my cockatiel’s eggs, hoping she doesn’t notice. Other than that good quality, nice (accurate) weight to them. Update: she is definitely fooled. She’s rolling eggs everyday and keeping an eye on anyone when they go near her box. She believes they’re her babies. She stopped laying too. Perfect.
