On the right side I molding/trim from window on left from fireplace. I could not use anything were the glass pressed against the wall because of the molding. On the Vantage Point the glass shelves are attached to the metal bar that sticks out a little over an inch from contact with the wall (glass shelves do not touch the wall.) You can also rotate the shelves left and right. You will be able to fit this unit in places others won't. You can get the detail specs of this shelving unit on company website. Still hard to hide all the wires. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best Wall Mount Systems *by R***T on November 22, 2007* The wall mount works on the basis of mounting directly to a stud. The hardware is complete and effective. Once assembled, the shelves can swivel slightly to allow you access to the rear of the components and wiring. It is study and clean looking and one of the best wall mounts I found out there. I units I have on this wall mount are the surround sound/receiver from Pioneer, cable box and DVD player.
